Worst outpatient surgical center in all of greater San Diego by far. Wouldn’t recommend friends or family have any medical procedures done here, stay far away!

Surgery That Didn’t Happen I don’t even know where to begin. My mom was supposed to have carpal tunnel surgery today, but it turned into a complete fiasco. First, we arrived at the surgery center in San Diego at 6:30 AM for her 7:30 AM procedure. To our surprise, the place was empty. After several attempts to reach someone, I finally got in touch with the coordinator of another doctor, who informed me that the surgery had been rescheduled to 12 PM. This was shocking, as we had received no prior notification of this change. Determined to get through the day, we returned at 11 AM. This time, a supervisor approached us and explained that the surgery had to be postponed by a few hours because a critical part of the equipment needed for the surgery was missing. This news was incredibly upsetting, especially since my mom had not eaten or drunk any water for 15 hours in preparation. The supervisor assured us that he would personally go to Marietta to retrieve the part and asked us to come back at 12:30 PM. By now, I was beyond frustrated and annoyed. The equipment should have been prepared and ready to go on the day of the surgery. It was infuriating that they only discovered the missing part after we returned at 11 AM. Nevertheless, we came back at 12:30 PM, only to be informed that the person fetching the part would take three more hours due to traffic, and they couldn’t provide an exact arrival time. We waited until 2 PM, but the GPS showed he was still in Marietta, two hours away from San Diego. The entire situation was a nightmare of poor communication and disorganization. We wasted the entire day for nothing, were repeatedly lied to, and my mom had gone over 18 hours without eating. This experience was completely unacceptable and deeply disappointing.
