A lovely office, but their anesthesiologists are in a different insurance network than the doctors, which I only found out by reading all the legalese in the pre-procedure paperwork and calling the anesthesiologists. That should be disclosed up front when they confirm that their office is in network. Now I'm out the cost of the office visit and several weeks of wait time because I'll need to find a new provider.

I am pleased to share that I received exceptional care service from Gastroenterology Specialist of Dekalb Endoscopy Center, Mountain Drive location. The service was excellent from the initial visit- to the discharge nurse, who courteously confirmed the authorized individual to accompany me upon my release, and being escorted to the exit. Every staff member {including reception, appts. etc. demonstrated professionalism, empathy, and ensured my comfort throughout the experience. The facility maintained a high standard of cleanliness. Dr. Kavitha Gopal, the supervising physician, as well as another physician... Erin Hembree present prior to the colonoscopy procedure, the anesthesiologist, and her team, along with all perioperative nurses provided exemplary care. The instructions given pre and post procedure were clear and easy to follow. The physician also explained the post-procedure findings in straightforward language, making all aspects accessible, including medical terminology. The follow-up call from Janice was so appreciated. Overall, I highly recommend Gastroenterology Specialist of Dekalb Endoscopy Center, Mountain Drive location without reservation. And did I feel anything, pain, etc. No. :- Tami J.

Dr. Gopal and her team are incredibly kind, patient, and thorough. This was my first colonoscopy, and I had a ton of questions — they walked me through every step and made me feel completely comfortable. Highly recommend — 10/10 experience.

Horrible customer service from the staffs!!! December 3rd I booked appointment for 29th December. 15th December staff called and left voice mail about cancellation. I admit I didn’t pick up call due to busy schedule. I had a lab appointment but they said there was no kits available to do the procedure. I was not told, waste of time again. Here’s the climax on December 22nd (I drove 40 minutes to get there) in person I asked front desk to confirm the appointment for 29th who had a screen that showed my schedule. What an irresponsible staff!!!! Same happened on November appointment I called multiple times to see if I’ve my appointment and recorded the front desk staff to confirm. When I went to the office they said there was no appointment. When I told them I’ve the recorded appointment confirmation they immediately booked my appointment. Again what a horrible customer service experience. Doctors are doing their job properly and very respectful. However the staffs are rude. My prevalence is if you want to come here it’s your responsibility to deal with the rude staff.
