Dr. Truss: Five Stars Nurse who wheeled my mother to my car: ZERO Stars My mom had a procedure today with Dr. Truss, who was incredibly kind and professional. Every nurse we interacted with was extremely patient, compassionate, and attentive. I truly cannot say enough good things about the medical care she received. Unfortunately, the experience was completely undermined by the woman who wheeled my mom outside for pickup. She was extremely rude and acted as though helping my mom was an inconvenience. While being wheeled out, my mom urgently needed to use the bathroom. The woman ignored her entirely, maneuvered around her, and attempted to leave. When I asked if she could wheel my mom to the bathroom, my request was ignored. My mom had just come out of anesthesia and was clearly confused. Instead of assisting, the woman simply pointed in the direction of the restroom and walked away. My mom had to slowly and unsteadily make her way inside on her own, which was unsafe and unacceptable given her condition. I attempted to call and file a complaint afterward but was unable to reach anyone. This behavior was inappropriate and concerning, especially toward a patient recovering from anesthesia. I hope this is addressed so other patients and families do not have a similar experience.

Let's start off with they let you know less than 24 hours before your procedure to tell you have to pay $500 or pay $100 cancelation fee. I had already started the bowl prep. I walk into a facility that looked like a third world country. People eating in the lobby, nasty, dirty place. Go to get prepped and blood all over the floor. Had to make them clean it up. Just a nasty disgusting environment. Medical facilities should at least be clean. Why would you allow people to eat in a place where folks haven't eaten? Staff notified of this twice and still allowed to eat. I don't understand how they could eat in that nasty.
