Disorganized and treat patients like numbers. Showing up to appt/procedures and have been told im not on schedule or Dr. youre scheduled to see is so busy they just send you to someone else after hours wait times. Medical Assistants seem to be good but schedulers are beyond horrible and dang near Impossible to communicate with. I Was referred by UC Health because “they are faster”. Started process Aug 2025 and to date have had an MRI and Injection and now going back to UC health as this place is a circus. Go somewhere else if you have the choice!

My surgery and recovery with the Orthopaedic & Spine Center of Southern Colorado was world-class. From check-in to check out their team gave me the best experience imaginable. Dr. Stanton, Dr. Fisher & Dr. Stubing spent time thoroughly explaining my procedure as it pertained to their specialty giving my wife and I confidence that I was in the care of truly elite medical professionals. And the team at the surgery center were truly amazing. Highly skilled and extremely caring, they made my recovery from surgery almost enjoyable! Their passion and purpose were unlike anything I’ve ever experienced in a medical facility! And best of all, unlike any experience I’ve ever had in a hospital, I slept very well! It is without hesitation that I recommend the Orthopaedic & Spine Center of Southern Colorado Surgery Center to you.

I felt like a million bucks or a VIP. Everyone was so accommodating from check in to discharge making the nervous feelings disappear. I’ve never felt so great after a surgery! The doc that performed my surgery is no longer at the facility but there are amazing options to choose from! I had my shoulder repaired and although healing has been a long process, they managed to do it with minimal scarring and a simple process! Going to the facility was cheaper than the hospital. It was a good pick!

Showed up for my sons surgery. No one called to tell us there was a $4500 deductible expected at day of surgery. So I explain I don’t have that kind of money and they ask for half. I said I have 500 and cannot even offer all of that. So they made me sign a promissory note to pay balance in 6 months. Plus the 500 the day of surgery. They ran 45 minutes late getting him in to surgery. Also ran later than expected even after an update that it would only be a little longer. While sitting in waiting room where only parents are supposedly allowed, there is a family sitting waiting and not wearing masks on their face, they have them pulled under chin. Front office staff walk by and look but say nothing. Feel like they only care of the bottom line, how much they can make off us.

The Dr.'s here are great. They really take time to listen to you. I was mostly looked after by Dr. Rosenberg. He was very nice and had a great bed-side manner. He explained what my issues were in my spine and also in my arms, and then gave me several choices of what and how they could help me. Though I chose to take the 'wait and see approach,' he was not upset about my decision like some Dr's would have been. He was understanding and kind. I would also like to thank the secretaries at the front desk, they work hard and keep that office running smoothly. They are welcoming and very friendly, and I'm sure the Dr's there appreciate their hard work, as do I. Thanks to everyone here at the UC Health Spine center. The best way to find them here at UC Health North is to turn into the Briargate exit and follow the road around to the first building with the address 4110 atop the doors. If you're in front of the building standing facing the doors the Children's hospital will be behind you and off to the right a bit. If you're coming from the main entrance you have to drive all the way around to the other side of the medical complex away from the building that says Memorial Hospital North. I tell you this because this is a huge medical complex and I got lost the first couple times I came here. And when you do find the right building, if you're not paying attention you will walk right by the Spine Clinic's door. Right as you enter the building, veer immediately to your right. The door is kind of hidden by the plants in the main lobby when you first walk in. Get to your appointment early because parking is a chore. It's a very busy place here, and you won't find a place close up, unless you're handi-capped or very lucky. You will want to use parking lot number 9, 10 or 11. I hope this information helps.
