I never leave ratings. however, this was my first colonoscopy and I was super anxious and had the worst experience with the prep part. I was for sure afraid that I would be a nervous wreck or judged or whatever. however it was the complete opposite. every staff member was amazing! kudos to Tera, Kristen, Ray, Ashley L, Randy, Adair's and Lori (sorry if I got some names wrong) yall made the experience way better than I could have imagined. you were kind, attentive and made the day more calming
Sometimes the worst part about minor procedures in a surgery center is getting the IV placed in your wrist area. After one nurse couldn't find a good vein (due to me not being able to drink water, so a bit dehydrated), Gena Foshee came in and within 30 seconds and a very painless needle prick, she got me all hooked up, ready for my happy meds. I remember her from a previous procedure; how well she did the time before and was very grateful she was on the job. I know I can't request which nurse does the deed, but next time I might do so. All in all, a great experience!
The nurse with the red hair and the tattoos all over her arms should not be allowed anywhere near a human body with needles. She mutilated my hand trying to start my IV even though I told her not to go in my hand especially that hand because I know where I have the best veins. She thought she knew better than me. Her inability to properly start an IV caused me to go into shock and my body was convulsing prior to be putting under anesthesia. SO I WENT UNDER AN A STATE OF SHOCK WHICH CAN'T BE GOOD FOR ANYBODY. The only saving grace is an absolute angel named Ray who listened to what I had to say chose the correct vein based on my advice and I didn't even feel it when he started my IV. This man is a godsend. Ask for him each and every time you are there. Do not allow the redheaded woman with the tattoos to start your IV!!! She also has the most terrible bedside manner. She is an unpleasant person that clearly hates her job.
The staff at Southwest Endoscopy and Surgicenter are different than any medical center I have visited. They answered all of my questions, and gave me time to ask them all. When talking to me they looked at me. Most places look at their computer or paperwork when talking to the patients, but not at Southwest. Here, I felt like a person, not a number. Thank you for taking such good care of me!
Recently I did colonoscopy at southwest Surgicenter . My procedure went very well . All the staff and especially recovery nurse Seng Pairmore went beyond the call of duty . I had a great experience with the facility
