I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Isobel Santos at Regional Hand Center. She was professional, knowledgeable, and took the time to thoroughly explain my condition and treatment options. I felt genuinely heard and cared for throughout the entire process. The staff was also friendly and efficient, making the visit smooth and stress-free. I highly recommend Dr. Santos to anyone needing expert hand care!

The staff is non-responsive and unprofessional. Many, many unreturned phone calls and appointments rescheduled. I had surgery on 2/18. I had one follow-up on 2/24, and I won't have another follow-up for 6 weeks. I wasn't given any real guidance on how to recover at the post op, and my wrist was not touched or examined in any way. The post-visit notes are full of lies about what they actually did and told me in the appointment. I called to get more information about the tendon glides and range of motion exercises they supposedly gave me at that time and was told they usually provide a hand out and that they would email it to me. I'm still waiting. I'm also still waiting on a reasonable return-to-work form. They sent me back to work 6 days after TFCC debridement and synovectomy with only one modification listed: 25 pound lifting maximum. I still can't move my wrist at all, never mind lift 25 pounds. No one will return calls, so if I need something I've had to beg someone to actually find the person I need to speak with in the office and put me straight through to them. I've been dealing with this since October, and it has made the whole experience nightmarish. I think Dr. Avena might be a good surgeon, but I wouldn't choose this place again, because you need more than a good surgeon to get through surgery and healing.

Very nice doctor. He was professional and very thorough in his explanation of my issues. I need 3 separate surgeries, we discussed what each entailed, the time frames for recovery, and physical therapy post surgery. I would recommend Dr. Avena as a well known, and respected hand surgeon.

Extremely happy I was referred to Dr Galli. He is extremely thorough. Takes his time with every patient, never rushing you . Extremely knowledgeable as well as skilled. Had my first hand surgery 1/27/26 and I’m healing very well thanks to him. Anxiously awaiting my second hand surgery in a few weeks so I can finally get back to normal and return to work again.

Had an appointment with Dr. Randi Galli. I was pleased with how thorough he was throughout the appointment and with the treatment options that he suggested. Quality physician! I cannot speak for the other physicians because I only saw Dr. Galli, but I highly recommend Dr. Galli at Regional Hand Center. The other staff that I interacted with were pleasant and helpful as well.
