I wish there was an option for zero stars. My husband had to have a colonoscopy at this place. He went through the whole dreaded prep. His appointment was at 2:30pm with the arrival of 1:15pm. He got a call from the staff saying that there was a cancellation and if he could come in at 12:40. My husband agreed because he wanted to get this over with. We rushed and arrived at 12:30pm. We sat and waited as the time went by, at 1:10 I asked why they called us early if we were still not being called back. They said they didn’t have beds available. Then why call us? Long story short, it’s is now 4:27pm and he still isn’t out. I went inside the lobby to get an update (I’ve been waiting outside for him) and the female staff member looked irritated to see me coming to the desk, I asked her for an update on my husband, to which she replied “Did they call you and give you an update?”. I told her “No, but my husband text me”. She reluctantly called the recovery room and then told me “He will be out in 20 minutes..We’re closing the lobby, wait in your car and they’ll bring him out”. Definitely will not be having my colonoscopy at this unorganized facility. I understand things happen, doctors get delayed with other cases, but there was absolutely no communication and absolutely no consideration for the patient.
Everyone here was great at their job. Three people stood out the most during my visit. Thank you Bridget, Leon, and the sweet check in nurse in the prep area with the glasses that asked me all the questions. I didnt catch her name. Really put my concerns and nerves at easy. Great job. Great work. Thank you very much. 👍🏽🙌🏽
Today, I had a procedure that went great. Having procedures can be stressful, and my anxiety was on a all time high. I felt like I was going to have an anxiety attack. The nurses and Dr. Shindy were so patient with me and helped talk me through until I calmed down. As a patient, this was the most important part of my experience. Thank you all so much. Sandra
Process was easy, the waiting room is for patients only; they will call your driver 20 min before you are discharged. Jane was sweet and Tyler was an excellent nurse. Lori was also wonderful and very nice. Overall, a good experience and appreciated filling out most of forms online.
I would give zero stars if I could. After the absolutely BRUTAL colonoscopy prep (24oz broth, 64oz liquid with a bottle of MiraLAX, another bottle of Magnesium Citrate, plus 4 Dulcolax and GasX pills…I spent a lot of money on all of that btw), and a sleepless night, I showed up right on time and was told Dr. Yang was running an hour late. People dread this test, they put it off for years bc of that and the hassle of the “prep.” They take time off from work for these kinds of procedures, they ask friends or partners or children to take time off as well to give them a ride home, you have to go off some medications sometimes for as much as a week to 10 days, you plan your week around not being able to leave home for at least a couple of days and you are also threatened with a $300 fee if you cancel within five days of your colonoscopy. I was there on time. I waited over an hour and was finally hooked up to an IV in preparation. They then CANCELED my colonoscopy due to “maintenance issues.” After 2 days of torture it was all for nothing and I have to go through it allover again. SO incredibly unprofessional. What could possibly have happened that they couldn’t fix it with a center full of patients? If Dr Yang hadn’t been an hour late, maybe my test wouldn’t have been canceled, but to do that to your patient? It’s unacceptable. Where’s MY $300 for YOU canceling? I’ve found a new Gastroenterologist and my procedure will NOT be here.
They specialize in various gastroenterology procedures, including endoscopies and colonoscopies.
