Had surgery yesterday 22 Jan 26. I'm 73 and have been in HCA Gulf coast and Sacred Heart Ascension before but this was the most organized, most professional experience I have ever had. Everyone knew their job. Everyone knew what to do. There is a great team there
My husband had hernia surgery, everyone leading up to the surgery and the day of the procedure were very professional. The nurses and Dr Jenks were top notch! The only thing I have is there was no coffee in the lobby for us early morning people! lol
Probably great if youre paying cash ,or maybe have really good insurance but if you have sunshine or Medicaid don't waste your time here ,they do discriminate .
100% disabled combat veteran. Yesterday I cleared having my service dog with me for my preop prior to surgery today. The representative on the phone told us it was no issue. Today I got checked in and was about to go back to preop (not a sterile environment) and was refused entry with my service dog. Federal law states that service animals are allowed in all areas except the operating room (sterile rooms). Besides this place being in violation of federal ADA laws, their attitudes and personal skills were atrocious at best. FIND SOMEWHERE ELSE TO GO, preferably one that follows federal laws and doesn’t discriminate against 100% disabled veterans.
