My experience with Orlando Orthopedic Outpatient Surgery Center was fantastic. Everyone from Doctor Travis Van Dyke to the orderlies were fantastic. My Nurse Lisa was amazing, she was Compassionate, relatable, funny, attentive and made sure I was comfortable at all times. I’m not sure what some don th e negative reviews were about, but my experience was great❤️

Absolutely 💯 a top notch facility. From check in, initial prep, surgery, post surgery process, check out. Dr. Austell and his dedicated team are far and above the standard. Kudos to all that were part of my surgery procedure. Harrison Edinger

Whoever calls to confirm the online appointments we fill up on the webpage is extremely rude. Today is August 22nd, 9:45 am. I had a woman called me back to ask something about my hand because I filled a wrong information online. She would not even let me explain anything, she was extremely rude. She was not making me a favor, so I just told her she could cancel my appointment that I would go somewhere else. You all are losing patiences/clients because your rude staff!!

This is a long one.. i wish i could give 10 stars. Between the check in desk to the recovery nurses, I had an amazing experience. I'll be honest it's tough to get the center on the phone, however, when I did the communication was clear, friendly, and kind. The entire staff was fantastic. My presurgery nurse was super sweet and personable; she made me feel calm and helped me relax. The anesthesiologist, although a fast talker, was helpful with knowledge, I was even address by his team member. The post surgery nurses were very helpful in after care. One of my favorite things they did was before/while waking me up already started to utilize heat to make me more comfortable while coming out of the anesthesia in order to prevent the shakes. This was a concern i voiced prior to surgery the day of and when a nurse called the few days prior, they really listen and considered my feelings. The team was accommodating and did not make me feel like a burden. Subsequently, I noticed that the team generally wanted to be there and worked as such, like a team. You could tell they cared about eachother and wanted to work there and with eachother.

Took my teen here for surgery. The location is a bit confusing, it is tucked between buildings and a parking garage. Aside from that, check in was smooth, but we waited awhile before she was called in for her time to begin prep. Pre-surgery nurse was GREAT as was anesthesiologist and her doctor to address pre-surgery jitters and determine a nerve block was advisable (which she elected for). Surgery went fine. However, post surgery, the reception got my number wrong. I know this because someone checked in with her and repeated all but the last number of my phone correctly. in turn, it meant the doctor could not call me after to give me a report. I was later able to get in touch with the doctor to see how things went. We're two months later and they mailed a check for extra copayment taken that needed to be refunded. It was payee to the wrong last name and I was able to get this taken care of quickly thanks to Christine!
