Told to be here at 7am … 1:57:00 (1 hour and 57 minutes)later still no check-in… “you are in line” … .. “there are others before you” SO WHY DO YOU SEND NOTICES TO ARRIVE AT 7AM? WHY DID YOU CALL ME AND TELL ME TO BE HERE NO LATER THAN 7:15AM? No explanation…no empathy…no consideration!!!!! Do NOT book here! Ask you doctor for an alternate facility!!!!

Date of Service: 07/05/24. The only reason I give 2 stars is because the staff and the nurses are very friendly and ready to help. The Orlando Surgery Center from "Physician Partners of America" is like they are still in the early 2000's, papers, papers and more papers. In 2024 most surgery centers have tablets and electronic signature. The front desk seems disorganized and they even lost a document that I was already signed. The procedure was extremely delayed because they had to wait for a "surgery tech" to finish on other surgery in order to attend my procedure. I did not have a proper discharge instructions. I was never told how long I needed to wait in order to remove/change my gauze. No pain medication after the procedure, I'm still in pain. I haven't received a call from a nurse to find out how I'm doing, normally is done within 24 to 48 hours after the procedure. VERY DISSAPOINTED. The response to this review will be a GENERIC message asking me to email "customer service" rather than contacting the patient and be more personal. Why I need to email customer service, everybody is reading this review already. Are all Physician Partners of America facilities in the same situation?? I will be posting also in Facebook, X and Instagram. By the way I like Dr Rick Nieves Ramos, he's very good as a physician.

This was my first experience dealing with this surgery center and I just want to say what a great experience I had even though I did have some troubles. They made sure I was well taken care of and Marion my nurse was the kindest, sweetest nurse in any surgery center I have ever been in. I had some complications and had to return the next day where Marion again took such great care of me along with Lisa from Dr. Ahmed's office. Every staff member was professional and very kind and Dr. Ahmed's bed side manner is a breath of fresh air. Thank you to everyone who took care of me during my visits.

Feb. 28 12:30 appointment for a nerve block w/ local for severe leg pain. Was brought back for procedure 60 min. late. Prep went well, good staff for that part. On the table for nerve block, Dr. says a little sting (wasn't little) thinking here comes Novocain. Now i've been to the dentist a few times, had many stitches and a few broken bones and always was given a few minutes to let the Novocain to take effect. Not this time, either I didn't get the LOCAL, it was placed in the wrong spot or just didn't work. So I spent the next 10 mins or so screaming in pain as the Dr. continues stabbing a needle into my spine. I begged them to stop, I pleaded for no more torture and I was ignored. Finally the Dr. stopped & through my sobs I could hear him leaving and saying "I'll never work on him again" Now the techs are trying to calm me down and help get me off the table and we all looked at my right arm which turned purple from mid forearm to finger tips. Appears the blood pressure cup was extremely overtightened causing massive bruising to my right arm! As i'm wheeled back to the prep area, I noticed most people were gone and I get the feeling that this was a Friday afternoon rush job so everyone could go home early. Bottom line, i'm nearly $500.00 copay in this and got ZERO/NONE relief just more PAIN. Life gives us choices and I hope this helps others seeking help. John Kennedy
