New Salem Surgery Center

Really 5* for the medical staff involved in my procedure, but that office staff... wild. I called with a billing question this morning. A woman answered and every time I tried explaining my question, she interrupted me and acted frustrated with me. She was trying to tell me that the bill was "the doctor" "the doctor" repeatedly, which I now understand after someone else let me finish my question to give me an answer. I was asking "what doctor?" and for some reason she was not understanding that what I didn't understand is that the doctor who performed my procedure bills separately. That is literally all she had to say. I was not understanding her answer and she just kept saying "it's the doctor", interrupting me. Why is it so hard to just explain what you're saying further? That's how conversations work. Instead she just kept on interrupting me and having an attitude with me. Then she got up from the phone and asked someone else to take it "because she is"... When the next person took the phone he came in with an attitude as well. I was just trying to explain my question and he also kept interrupting me to say the same thing over and over. Why is it when a customer is still confused by an answer yall don't further explain what you're talking about? Now yall have had this situation get frustrated and been unprofessional and raise yalls voices and all I did was not understand the answer. These two conversations together only lasted like 7 minutes, and that's kinda wild to start talking to someone like that in that short of a conversation, not once, but twice. Like how hard is it to say, "the physician who did your procedure bills separately, here is how you contact his office". It's so weird to be irritated with someone for not understanding something that you haven't explained. Wild. Hope yall week gets better... terribly unprofessional. Hope management listens to that phone call (10:12am). More conversational skills and professionalism training very needed here.

Had my surgery on 4/24/25 and was pleased with everything. From the check in to the pre op and aftercare, everything was beyond my expectations. The nurses were amazing and my doctor (Dr Bass) was amazing too . If I ever have to come back to this facility, I know I am well taken care of.

I could not have asked for better care from the staff. Very friendly, very helpful and answered all my questions. My comfort before and after surgery was their top priority.

I am so glad that I decided to have my procedure done here. Everyone was so friendly from the moment I walked through the door. They were all very informative about what was happening or about to happen and who you would be talking to next and why. I loved the one on one care and that they stay in contact with you before and after your procedure. I would definitely have any and all future procedures done here if possible. Thank you to all the staff for caring so much.

Both my daughters have been here and today just went again with my youngest . The staff is so sweet with them and patient ! Explains everything well , and truly made the entire experience as best as it could be :) especially with children under 5 💕
