so i looked past the fact that i was poked more times then a pin cushion because you guys didnt know what you were doing, i looked past my iv being put in wrong causing blood and meds to run down my arm, i looked past the severe lack of patient customer service, i also looked past the miscommunication on your part that led to my procedure starting over an hour late, but what i wont look past is the fact that after 2 months of being completely paid off of my payment agreement you come knocking on my mailbox with a letter saying im over 30 days late on my payment that was deducted on dec 22nd from my credit card, this place is a joke, if you wanna see a comedy show come here, now im stuck on hold with a billing dept that wont answer there phone. good luck to all who choose to come here theres a reason why there rating is dropping. the only positive to this place is the doctor himself and a select few staff that were nice
Dr. Shenoy is very unprofessional. Previously, his office failed to send the necessary prep instructions for my procedure. Later, after rescheduling due to their error, I followed all the prep instructions for the procedure but was unable to achieve necessary results in time. Despite this, the doctor chose to punish me and refused to reschedule my procedure again or modify prep instructions for my specific needs, all while knowing full well the pain I’m in. Shenoy has openly flouted the Hippocratic Oath, and I will be pursuing all available options with the Health Department. No doctor should be allowed to treat patients this way.
The staff was nice and the facility was clean. They did a great job explaining the procedure and each step that they were doing. The procedure itself went smoothly. The problem is with billing. I paid $600+ the day of the procedure. A month later I received a different bill and a month after that I received another bill with a different amount. It was not explained at the facility that there would be additional costs besides the initial charge. I am not sure where these extra charges are coming from but they were definitely not explained.
The facility itself is clean. My doctor is great. However, I do not appreciate this facility taking a payment from me on the day of my colonoscopy for almost $400 as amount I have to pay and then getting another bill in the mail for double that amount as balance due. They told me the initial cost was my payment. After the procedure, i get an even bigger bill in the mail. Why didn't they tell me this in the first place? I'm so furious! Never going back there. I also called the billing dept to discuss. No one answers. I left messages. No one calls me back. Very unprofessional!
My experience at Lakeview was excellent. From appointment, to surgery the center was well organized, clean and pleasant. Each staff member I came in contact with today were so pleasant, professional and genuinely cared about my well being. Ms. Ariel is a wonderful nurse, she was very caring and kind, thank you for choosing the health profession, everyone deserves a nurse like you. Dr. Covelli, an absolutely jewel, very thorough and approachable. I was very comfortable under her care and appreciate the time and attention she took to explain the procedure and communicate my results. Thank you so much Lakeview Surgery, 10 Stars.
