I would give no stars if I could. The waiting area was crammed with people. The nurses spoke to many people in condescending tones. One in particular spoke very nasty to me but when she did it to a sweet little old man who could hardly hear her.... That was it. I made a formal complaint the day of the procedure with a written statement. They pulled me back to a walk area and violated every HIPAA rule possible by going over my medical history out in the open for anyone to hear and see. Then, they followed by doing the same thing to a gentleman behind me. I know every medical condition he has and I know his name and is face. My family has been here many times and this was just beyond comprehension on how it went downhill in the matter of 2 years. If you go to AGA and love your doctor, pick a different facility for your colonoscopy.
Be aware of their billing practices. I had a preventative service and at the post op visit they billed my insurance with codes that were not relevant to the post op visit. My insurance and I have been trying to solve for this since July and we have made over 10 calls between the practice and North Side Physicians billing services. Each of the representatives tells us that they will raise it with the relevant department and asks us to call after sometime. But since last 4-5 months nothing has changed despite the practice agreed that the coding was incorrect and that they say will be fixed by their other department. But I have been receiving bills with outstanding amount despite of no fault of mine. Yesterday I received a notice saying my account is sent to collections when they agreed the billing is not correct Also I do not recommend the physician at this location who I don’t wish to name, he is not only greedy for money hence billed irrelevant codes but utterly not caring for his patients and his service lacks empathy and proper explanation or engagement in discussions. Though I have not mentioned the name on public forum, I definitely am discussing this with friends and acquaintances and not recommending. His reviews are deceptive. Please do your own research and check your bills when dealing with this practice.
I paid my bill up front. They gave me a price. I paid in cash prior to my services. Then I started getting bills for more than what I had paid. I explained several times and showed my reciepts but they are still sending me random messages, text, and calls. PLEASE GET YOUR RECORDS STREIGHT AND LEAVE ME ALONE! You have already been paid.
The procedure was great up until after and I had questions regarding the results and asked for Dr. Sanchez to call me twice and still no response and the procedure was done on October 29th. I called again today November 20th so we will see if I get a call back.
Unfortunately I have to agree with recent terrible reviews. So many back to back appointments in parallel, makeshift rooms and then conducting endoscopy or colonoscopy literally with 20-25 min and then letting you go as soon as they can.. I got complications you post colonoscopy resulting in appendicitis within 2 days and removal!! I tried calling them next day when I had pain but no response at all.
