The nurse practitioner who obtained background information and my current status was thorough and comprehensive in obtaining all relevant information to share with Dr. Patel. This allowed Dr. Patel to quickly assess my condition(s) and to explain in easily understood terms what procedures would minimize pain and discomfort in my lower back. He was professional, reassuring, and inspired confidence in the direction of procedures to follow. Dr. Patel was quick in providing explanations and recommendations, but at no time did I feel rushed or hurried. He displayed a good sense of humor and was always willing to listen to me and answer all questions.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. My experience with Alliance Spine and Pain Centers has been a financial nightmare. My wife went in for a simple test shot for back pain (not a surgery) - after confirming multiple times via phone, text, and their patient portal that the procedure was in-network and would only cost me $118 for anesthesia. I was never given a Good Faith Estimate, despite asking repeatedly. After the procedure, the clinic billed my insurance (Cigna) over $14,000, and then claimed I owed $1,951 out of pocket - more than double the amount they told me an uninsured patient would pay ($900 total, per a recorded call with their own rep). When I tried to get answers, I was passed between billing reps, a doctor who claimed he had no control, and a manager who simply said the amount was “firm.” Then, they blocked me from their patient portal, cutting off access to my records. Out of frustration and pressure, I paid the full amount, but I deeply regret not taking this to court. I have since filed formal complaints with CMS and the Georgia Department of Insurance, and I’m sharing my experience here to warn others. I have screenshots, emails, and audio recordings to back everything up. Let me be clear: the doctor and staff were professional and kind - my issue is with how this business operates financially. If a test shot costs this much, I can’t imagine the price tag on actual treatment. Avoid this place if you value transparency, ethics, and knowing your costs upfront.

I highly recommend this practice to all who are seeking compassionate, knowledgeable and professional staff. I have been cared for by this practice for years. They always listen and answer all of my concerns and questions. They make it possible for me to live daily without agonizing pain.

I walked into Alliance Spine and Pain Centers' offices in Suwannee at the recommendation of my surgeon. I was met with friendly, knowledgeable staff, who suggested that I might be able to meet that day with Dr. Preetesh Patel. I had an immediate positive reaction to Dr. Patel, who proceeded with an initial work up and assessment with his PA within 20 minutes of my arrival. I was absolutely amazed! In addition, I found that I will be able to see Dr. Patel in the Alliance Sandy Springs office, which is my local neighborhood. Alliance has convenient locations that will continue to make this an easy journey going forward. I am looking forward to treatment by Dr. Patel and Alliance!

Dr. Patel is extremely helpful, kind, empathetic towards his patients. He gives the best advice & eager to help in the safest & most effective way possible. I have an issue since many years . His treatment plan has helped me get rid of chronic pain . I have long term relief only because of his advice & treatment .
