I have been a patient of Dr. Mandyam and Debbie Wilkins, NP for over 10 years, and I truly cannot say enough good things about this practice. During that time, I’ve had many procedures, including multiple neck and back injections, trigger points, many procedures and spinal stimulators. Dr. Mandyam is not only an excellent physician, but also genuinely kind and funny—he always manages to make me laugh, even during difficult appointments. At one point, I suddenly lost feeling in my hands due to a serious neck issue. Dr. Mandyam immediately stopped what he was doing, personally contacted an orthopedic surgeon he knew, and made sure I was seen right away. I was able to have surgery within just a few days. That level of care and urgency meant everything to me. Debbie Wilkins is always warm, friendly and so easy to talk to. She truly listens and makes every visit feel comfortable and supportive. Roberta Grace, along with the rest of the staff, keeps everything running smoothly and organized. The office is extremely well run and professional. I’ve seen many doctors over the past 10 years, and Dr. Mandyam, Debbie Wilkins and Roberta Grace truly stand out. They are knowledgeable, compassionate and genuinely wonderful to speak with and laugh with. I highly recommend this entire team.
I had a FES implant and it has taken 90+% away. The procedure went well and the entire staff were great. The only issue I have was they were at least 1 1/2-2 hours behind . My procedure did not end until around 6:45 pm. The front desk closed and told my wife she would have to go sit in her car. By this time it was very dark and very cold outside. They did not offer to let her sit in the waiting area. There was also a small room separating the office from the OR area and she could have sat there. She was out in the car for over an hour. I was the last patient for the day. I asked to speak to the office manager but was told by the NP that they did not have one and she would have someone call me but that didn’t happen. It was really unsafe for my wife in the dark in that location. Next time they should let people stay in the waiting area.
Extremely unprofessional and a complete waste of time. I scheduled an appointment specifically for a finger injury and swelling that has persisted for two months. I was very clear about the nature of the injury when I booked. I arrived 20 minutes early, finished all the paperwork, and paid my fee, only to be left sitting in an exam room for 45 minutes. When the doctor (Name: Srinand Mandyam) finally showed up, they spent a few minutes looking at it only to tell me they couldn't treat it and referred me elsewhere. Why was I allowed to book this appointment and pay money if they don’t handle this type of injury? They had all the information beforehand. If you value your time and money, stay away. They are happy to take your payment but won't bother checking if they can actually help you before making you wait for an hour.
Dr Mandyam and his people are the best. He listens, and patiently explains things. No surprises at Summit offices. I have been to various Pain Mgmt providers over several years, and Dr Mandyam is no doubt the most knowledgeable, open-minded, and caring of anyone
Always reminds me of upcoming appointments. My life requires these reminders to keep track of all my meeting dates. Also very understanding about changing the appointment when I need to reschedule due to other commitments or transportation programs. So nice to be treated like a human being rather than a profitable source of income like too many other medical facilities have become. Thank You, Everyone at Summit, for the consistently excellent care shone to your 'human' patients.
