Foothills Surgery Center

I recently had surgery at Foothills Surgery Center, and overall, my experience was very positive. The doctor and medical staff were excellent professional, compassionate, and attentive throughout the entire process. From check-in to recovery, everything was smooth and efficient, and I felt very well cared for. My procedure went great, and the care team made sure I was comfortable and informed every step of the way. The only downside came afterward when I noticed that my final bill seemed higher than expected. I felt I was overbilled for certain charges, which was disappointing after such a great clinical experience. I’m currently working with their billing department to hopefully get things sorted out, but it’s something future patients might want to double-check. Overall, the quality of care was excellent, and I truly appreciate the professionalism of the doctor and nurses. I would recommend Foothills Surgery Center for the medical care, but I’d advise paying close attention to the billing details.

I had an amazing experience getting my surgery here. Days in advance, the billing department called me to make sure I knew how much I owed so I had plenty of time to get funds together. They also offered to work with me on a payment plan if needed. On the day of my surgery, the front desk staff was incredibly kind and helpful. The pre op nurses were efficient and professional. I was very nervous about the anesthesia and the anesthesiologist and OR nurse were jovial and kind and helped my nerves so much. The cherry on top was the amazing PACU nurse I had in recovery. I cannot stress enough how amazing of an experience I had! Thanks to everyone at Foothills!

I was referred to the Foothills Surgical Center since my doctor operates out of this facility. I was not given any information about facility billing before the surgery and after the operation was completed, was hit with a large bill. I have been in communication with the center for weeks with absolutely no resolution. Instead, the Surgical Center put the burden of responsibility on me saying I should have called and asked before my oepration. How is a patient supposed to know that? Meanwhile, they have an entire billing department who is supposed to check billing with insurance and inform the patient about estimated costs. They work unethically and even when confronted, take no responsibility or accountability. There are plenty of other places a patient can receive care with transparent communication and billing, and one where the facility does not blame you for their short comings. DO NOT recommend at all. This is a scam wrapped up in medical care. *** UPDATE: I have been trying for the last week to get this amount financed and even then, the facility refuses to make any accomodation regarding how much money I can pay compared to what they are forcing me to pay. When I shared with them I cannot pay their minimum, they went ahead and simply said it will go to collections and will become predatory. This is the practice of this facility - scheming for patients when when you have financial strains, to ruin your life. Embarassing. DO NOT GO HERE.

I received excellent care from the nurses and staff. The team was attentive and compassionate, explaining each step of the process in a way that eased my nerves. They struck the perfect balance between efficiency and a personal touch, which made the experience as stress-free as possible.

I’ve been having surgery here for about 8 years now. I have severe anxiety when it comes to surgery but the people here are absolutely amazing. I’ve never had a bad experience. I am so grateful to have such a wonderful surgical team who accommodated to every single one of my needs during all cares provided. I am a healthcare worker too and I can say that all the bed side manner at Foothills surgery center is beyond incredible. Thank you Alexis (RN) for keeping my mind off the whole mess and anxiety of the situation, thank you Molly (Charge Nurse) for being so kind and there if needed, thank you Shelby (RN) for making me laugh and really being there with me when I needed it, thank you Dr. Miller (anesthesiologist) for being so kind, straight up, and keeping me asleep the whole time :) and thank you Dr. Fox, Trisha, and Dr. Beckley for being so good at what you do and letting me be your patient for so long. I am beyond grateful for having such an amazing team to fall back on.
