Do not go here, while Dr. Powell and the nursing staff are great, the billing to insurance is a disaster. What should be a 100% covered preventative colonoscopy, is now a $2500+ out of pocket expense. It is next to impossible to get any one on the phone to assist and they do not call back when you politely ask for a return call. Save yourself the stress and go with an office who can handle the task of medical billing correctly.
Disappointed with experience. Checked in for coloscopy and waited more than 1 hour. No explanation of why they were behind. When called back nurse not friendly. Doctor was fine but I wouldn't pick this location
Based on other reviews I should have stayed away. I am having similar experiences with billing. They make you prepay for agreed upon services and then continue to bill other things that were not agreed upon for the next 8 months. Over billing and double billing insurance.
Do not go here. I had an outpatient surgical procedure and they overcharged me by about $580. I explained to them that I had a flat copay of $250 but they forced me to pay the full amount because staff is too lazy to find out how your insurance benefits work and they were not going to verify on the spot. I have been trying to get a refund for 3 months!!! I am a cancer patient and $580 out of my budget is not an easy thing when I have so many other medical bills. They don’t return my calls. Do not go here, these people are vultures.
