Adventhealth Surgery Center Wellswood

Yesterday, my wife had surgery at AdventHealth Surgery Center Wellswood, and we are extremely happy and grateful for the outstanding care and service provided by the entire staff. From the very beginning, they made us feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for. Everyone was incredibly professional, kind, and attentive. We truly don’t have enough words to express how thankful we are. A very special thank you to the nurses Carolina and David, who were absolutely amazing and compassionate throughout the entire process. We would also like to give special thanks to Dr. Temen, and to the entire team. Everyone was wonderful. We highly recommend this center with complete confidence.

Wow! Everyone here knows their stuff and is super attentive and caring! Wonderful at keeping you calm before procedures. They kept it light hearted but also made you feel super safe and well cared for. Special shout out to Rachel, Jonathan, and Derrick! Every one of them were so kind and so caring. And Dr Farooq was incredibly knowledgeable and compassionate! It’s rare to be surrounded by people who know their stuff but also aren’t so desensitized they forget this is a new thing for you personally. Highly recommend this facility! I feel every medical facility should be filled with people like these guys. Thank you all so much! 💗💗

I had a procedure done at the surgery center and had a wonderful experience while I was there. The staff was friendly and compassionate. Special shout outs to Carolina, Harley, Manu, Tammy, Katie and sweet Casey who held my hand. Thank you also. to Dr. Patel.

I had a procedure this morning and the staff was friendly and the nurses were fantastic. I was in a room with nurses all named Christina, and Dr. Chang. My procedure was set for 7am and I was headed home by 8:30. Much better than another surgery center I've been to in Tampa.

The nurses, and doctors had great bedside manners, I will never do a procedure at this facility again. I arrived at 6:45 AM for a colanoscopy that was scheduled at 7:00AM. It is now 9:20 and am still waiting in pre-op. I was wheeled in for the procedure at 10:00AM and it was completed at 11:00AM. When I asked the attending nurse why I had to wait 3 hours, before I did my procedure, she stated that that doctor is very "thorough". It is ridiculous and unprofessional that my colanoscopy was done 3 hours after it was schedule. I do not believe that the doctor is thorough, I believe that the doctor overbooked, and I had to suffer the consequences of that. There was at least one person that came in about 30 minutes after me and she did her procedure before me.
