So thrilled with my lasik and results! Dr Woolfson was amazing and I am so thankful to have had this life changing procedure done. Every single staff member I worked with was wonderful! I highly recommend them for a great start to finish experience and wonderful new vision!

I had a very disappointing and upsetting experience with Dr Steven Leff. During my initial visit, the appointment felt rushed, like an assembly line. Surgery was recommended and presented as quick and straightforward, with minimal discussion of risks. I agreed at the time. Two weeks later I received a notification of a new doctor’s note about my visit. I reviewed the doctor’s chart note and was alarmed to see a lengthy list of surgical risks documented, with a statement that all of these had been discussed with me. That did not happen during my visit. Naturally, this caused anxiety, so I reached out with questions. I was asked to come into the office for clarification. I drove one hour each way, hoping for reassurance and information. Instead, the doctor was condescending, refused to address my questions, repeatedly insisted I “go get a second opinion” (which I clearly stated I did not want), and abruptly left the room. The entire visit lasted less than two minutes. Afterward, I sent a respectful email explaining my experience and reiterating that I only wanted to understand the surgery and post-operative care. The following day, I received a certified letter dismissing me as a patient. Patients should be allowed to ask questions and express concerns without being treated as a problem or dismissed from care. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this practice.

Dr. Woolfson is amazing! Saw him here for my post opp (did surgery in Chattanooga office). I want to shout out Vanessa (works in medical records), there was some confusion with my appointment, she went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of!

I’ve visited both the Douglasville and Sandy Springs offices, and the doctors — Dr. Hays, Dr. Marsid, and Dr. Spetalnick — were all excellent. They were professional, personable, and took the time to clearly explain my condition and next steps. Unfortunately, my today experience with Troy, the technician in Sandy Springs, was very disappointing. He spoke at me rather than to me, wouldn’t turn around to face me while talking, and seemed dismissive throughout the appointment. It was surprising given the high level of professionalism from the doctors. I hope this feedback is addressed.

I had an incredible experience with Dr. Woolfson and his team for my LASIK surgery. From start to finish, the process was smooth, professional, and reassuring. Dr. Woolfson’s expertise and calm, confident approach immediately put me at ease. He took the time to thoroughly explain the procedure, answer all of my questions, and make sure I felt comfortable every step of the way. The surgery itself was quick and virtually painless, and I was amazed at how soon I noticed the improvement in my vision. The staff at Woolfson Eye Institute were also outstanding—friendly, supportive, and attentive to every detail of my care. They made the entire experience stress-free and positive. Thank you @ Hannah @ David. I am so grateful to Dr. Woolfson for his skill and dedication. Choosing him for my LASIK was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made, and I would highly recommend him to anyone considering vision correction surgery.
