My cataract surgeries on 2/19 and 3/3 were wonderfully handled by the staff at WCCS. Ghazal, Amanda, Betsy, Celeste and Jessica were helpful, loving and caring. I would want them to care for me any time. Thank you all for a pleasant experience through a very anxious ordeal. Teri C.
I was very nervous before my cataract surgery and every person I interacted with was compassionate, kind, and supportive. Hilary the RN who got me ready for surgery, Betsy the surgical nurse who is with me during the procedure, Dr. Weimar, the anesthesiologist and Dr. Josson, my surgeon made me feel confident and relaxed, quite an accomplishment for a high anxiety person like me! Operation by Dr Tayani is excellent it’s the other things that could improve. Like the pre operation I formation seems to be by a part time staff because they do not get back after leaving over 5 msgs and I have to keep calling g every few days. It’s very poor communications. It’s also poor in post operation but I wrote below what I suggest be done to be much more specific. I would Hugh suggest that written instructions for post operating for both medication and application be given to each patient . I’ve had several questions and I have to wait for someone to get back to me.
I recently had Cataract surgery on both of my eyes and it was amazing everything I see now is so bright, colorful and beautiful the surgery team Dr Karageozian, Jason his surgery assistant, the pre & post op nurses, Including anesthesiologist, were very Professional, Treated me with the most kindness and respect I could’ve asked for!
