The sleep center (Jen in particular) was well-suited to accomodating children.

Myself and my children started seeing K.C. NP at medical west in Camillus about 2yrs ago. Since switching it has been a nightmare. Not very knowledgeable at all. We are now looking for a new Family Physician. Communication is absolutely horrible. The people that work the front desk are rude and not helpful at all. If you call the office you will be lucky to get through to someone within 20 - 30min of waiting on hold. Requested Referrals just would get lost in the wind, we would have to call again and again to get them to actually send them in and to the accurate place. My kids had physicals that were not thoroughly done they just want to get you in & out!! When I would call about a sick visit they would automatically schedule a Telemedicine appointment over the phone & then would just Prescribe some sort of medication/antibiotic without even doing a thorough check up, no swabs, no checking temperature, no checking lungs/Respiratory, no check of blood pressure etc…..just thrown a medication or antibiotic without even taking the time to evaluate what was truly going on In person. If the medication prescribed wasn’t working. We would then be told to just go to the ER! I could go on….To sum it up, this is worst doctors office I have ever been to. Would definitely not recommend to anyone if your looking for good health care!

This is for the Family Care Medical Group doctor's office in this complex. They are the most unorganized, least communicative office I have ever experienced. I have asked them repeatedly to remove certain phone numbers from their records, they have also obtained numbers from people to reach me at without my consent, they do not communicate when appointments such as MRIs or follow ups are until two days before them, they never consult you about scheduling appointments for you and if they do they ignore your availability all together. The doctors prescribe you meds and keep you on them even if you are clearly having a severe reaction to them, they tell you anxiety and depression are choices but are quick to want to write you a prescription for them, they are not trans inclusive as they don't have a place to update your preferred name or pronouns, and just generally do not care

I've had two sleep studies done here. Both times I was treated/cared for with kindness. They are both professional, and down to earth. I had a the greatest experience someone with as many wires as I had on can have while sleeping.(and a machine attached to my face). However don't take Blu star taxi out... You'll be waiting hours.

Our 2 year old went in for a sleep study at Medical Center West in the Sleep Center and we were blown away by the quality of service we received. The staff was kind and courteous, and Franklin who prepped my daughter was amazing. If you have a sleep study to do this is the place to go.
