I cant speak for others but I had a fantastic experience here. The staff was friendly, informative, and accommodating. Especially my polish triage nurse who was fantastic! Didn't get her name but she had long brown hair with a polish accent. She was the best. Great bedside manner on all of the staff here. Thanks for all you do ladies and gents. In a thankless world I figured id drop a little sunshine on you all.

Be aware that disputes related to insurance billing will not be addressed by the accounts payable group. A family member scheduled a proactive procedure 100% covered by insurance. There were findings that required additional medical intervention. I anticipated being charged for the latter, but the initial procedure would have been fully paid by insurance if Valley Ambulatory submitted it properly. I had MANY conversations with the AP department, conferencing in an insurance rep at one point so the claim could be resubmitted. Valley Ambulatory said they’d “consult with the doctor”. I never heard back and the claim wasn’t resubmitted. Follow up conversations went nowhere. That leads me to believe the medical facility stands to make more $ by coding it the way they did. With today’s high deductible plans that means we pay out of pocket. Not an ethical way to run a business!

My son, my daughter and I all had tonsils removed here by Dr. Hampson and staff and all were excellent experiences. They were especially kind to my young daughter, taking extra time to explain everything to her and treating her and her stuffed sloth with kindness. They brought joy to an otherwise scary experience for her. Had no trouble with billing - you are sent an estimate ahead of time and expected to pay on arrival, which you are told ahead of time. If you question that amount make sure to contact your insurance prior to your procedure day.

Beware! 60 seconds before wheeling me into the operating room, they asked me to initial a requisition form for some cuffs they put on my legs. The surgery was 20 minutes long.I got a bill for over a thousand dollars from them 6 months after the surgery. Very deceptive up charge! Completely unnecessary!
