From start to finish; Dr. Drogt, Lealand-PA; and the Surgery Center "team" are like a well-oiled machine - smooth and efficient! My surgery was later in the afternoon so I had to spend the night after my knee replacement surgery. My husband could have also spent the night; but I sent him home. The care center was a good healing environment - nice and quiet! My call light was answered promptly; and the nurses were quick to switch out my ice packs when needed. Once I was home; an RN from the Surgery Center called to check on me. I was so thankful for that call; as I was in need of better pain management. Lealand-PA called back shortly after and addressed my concerns. I would definitely recommend this Surgery Center!
The surgical experience itself was fine but my recovery experience was lacking. I was one of only 2 patients in the surgery center. I was getting no response by using the nurse call button. I had to walk down to the desk and ask repeatedly if I could be discharged. When they came to my room they were setting me up for discharge without packing my medications, etc.
Fast efficient, professional,kind and caring is how I would describe all of the many involved my knee repair surgery. All went so well and had me back to work in just a few days. When I removed the bandages after 3 days the hardly noticeable scars were completely healed. Very Impressed...Thanks All!!!
I was crippled here. According to a surgeon at Allina, a so called doctor named Dane Hanson cut my tibia too short. I have been in terrible pain for the last three years and now walk with a limp and a cane. He won't admit to any wrongdoing because his ego won't let him. I lost my career in construction and am now struggling to get by on disability. Stay away from this place!
The surgery went very well and the care from the team was excellent. That includes everything that you need from the after care to the PT people I would give the whole experience a 10 out of 10!!!
