Horrible experience with nursing staff/procedural staff at this center. I went in for a cystoscopy. Prior to the procedure, I had asked one of the female nurses questions regarding the procedure. She had no time to answer my questions and said that we had to keep things moving as the doctor was waiting. I was at the facility 35 minutes prior to my appointment. She further said that she had been there since early morning, and that there were going to be more patients after my appointment till 4pm. When I indicated that I wasn't looking forward to the procedure due to my low pain tolerance, she asked if I wanted to cancel my appointment and further questioned me if I am "in or out". She was probably hoping I would cancel my appointment so she could be done with her work earlier than anticipated. After I told her I will proceed with the procedure because that was what the doctor had ordered, I was asked to basically remove my garments (waist down) while both nurses were in the room. There was no privacy provided. After the procedure was completed, I was rushed out of the room and again, I was asked to put my clothes on while both nurses were cleaning up the room. It is very odd that a practice like this would ask their patient to remove clothes without any privacy. I have been to many medical offices and I certainly haven't felt this embarrassed nor violated. Anyone who considers coming to this practice should probably find out ahead of time if they will be provided privacy in unclothing.
