I had an outpatient procedure September 25 @ University Surgery. It's a very nice clean, organized healthcare facility. The check-in process was efficient, the pre op nurse came to get me in less than 15 minutes of sitting down. All of the nursing staff was excellent, pre op area organized and clean., all staff was professional. The OR suite was also organized, clean, and I felt very comfortable with the entire short procedure. I would highly recommend this place for a procedure. My only 'beef' was with the billing staff who contacted me around 5 days prior to give me the low-down on my copay ($550.00) and in the past I was able to put something down and make a very short payment plan. This person was curt and didn't want to discuss this and said that I need to have the entire amount at time of admission. She had the gall to contact my surgeon and his office called me to also state "no copayment, no procedure'. I have a feeling you don't apply this across the board, but great clinical staff, thank you Nursing staff.
I had cataract surgery at the USC and I have to say they were very professional and friendly and caring , they explained everything down to the last second ! No problems afterward , I would recommend this place for everyone !
I have gone there two or three times in the past years and each time the staff was poorly managed didn’t follow through on scheduling messed up all the scheduling each time. I was there called my doctor and complained that I was rude. My doctor referred me to someone else which I thought was stupid Because the receptionist at university said I was rude. Anyway I wouldn’t go there again as I had life depended upon it poorly manage staff don’t answer phones when they do. They put you on hold for 10 minutes. No one knows what they’re doing there other than that life goes on.
the registration staff, nurses, and anesthetist were all amazing and so kind. i was very nervous for my surgery and they comforted me and were very friendly. i have a lot of health anxiety and this was a positive experience for me.
I went to my appointment and there is one receptionist that is nothing less than the worst. She was very very rude both times I had appointments. On the second time I told straight up to stop being rude and she only got worse. I asked to speak to manager. I told the manager she was being very rude if I can get someone else to help me. She said yes and the receptionist was still giving me looks and laughing at me like saying I don't care. She made me feel very uncomfortable. The worst experience ever. The staff in the back was very professional
