Yet another doctor’s office with no consideration for anyone’s time. I asked when I should return to pick up the patient when I dropped him off. They said 1.5 hrs. So I came back then. This time they said a nurse would call me 10 or 15 min before he will be ready. So I asked them to check where he is in the process. Nope, can’t do that. They do this procedure multiple times a day, every day. How difficult can communicating with the pick up folks be?

Dr Hanna was very pleasant, knowledgeable and professional. He listened to my questions and concerns, then gave me advice on how to proceed with my treatment that was clear enough that I didn’t feel looked down upon as I had with my previous GI doctor’s consultation. Now Dr Hanna and I have found a way to make me live a healthier lifestyle.

In May I had a colonoscopy and fecal testing done through Tucson Gastroenterology. The doctor did not take my concerns that I've been suffering from fungal overgrowth in my small intestine seriously. Told me such things don't exist. Did a battery of tests all of which did not test for candida in the upper GI. Every test came back negative. Doctor failed to follow up with me afterwards. Went to a different provider to get tested. Boom. Positive sifo diagnosis and actual meaningful treatment. My experience with these people was an absolute waste of time, health, and money. Go elsewhere if you can, your health is important.

I just underwent my 1st colonoscopy here yesterday. I was nervous to say the least and felt a bit like I was going to a Diddy party, you know knocked unconscious and diddied with lol. Then I saw the 2.6 star review and was terrified I had made a huge mistake. Well I am here to tell you, they are grossly underated!! They are wonderful! From the facility, staff, through the pre-procedural set-up, explaining the procedure, warm bed and blankets to the detailed and thorough exam with copies of findings, aftercare, prevention & advice. Tucson Gastroenterology is the place to go! Professional, friendly, informative, thorough... they checked every box I was looking for in a clinic for my colonoscopy. Above & Beyond all my expectations!

1st visit: Dr ordered outside exams 25 days later after giving up trying to phone, I stopped in and explained I had heard nothing. I was told no response from the outside providers and given a "copy" of an order dated that same day, told it had been sent 24 days earlier. The next day I received a text confirming another test. 34 days after my visit I was notified 1 test was ready On day 39 I once again stopped by the office to follow up and schedule. I was told the was a long line ahead of me with 3 people in the waiting room. She then left the front desk. 30 minutes later I left with no answers for scheduling. 41 days after my visit I tracked down the second test scheduled 4 months after my first visit (3 months into the future). That same afternoon the practice called regarding test 1. I questioned that I had been in two days earlier and was told they had just received the first test. I told her she shouldn't have put my contact information in the order because I had a copy of the delivery receipt 7 days ago. I'm looking for another practice who might be more interested in patient care and hopefully more honest
