This review has been a long time coming, so I apologize ahead of time for it's length. I have been a patient since about 2005. I have no complaints about Dr. Alsolaiman or Adrienne Shaver, NP (who left the practice out of the blue last year and they did not notify her patients), but the office/management staff need training in basic customer service. Over the years I have had to wait on average 30-60 minutes in the waiting room, yet I have seen them turn away patients who show up late for their appointment. One time in particular really bothered me. A caregiver showed up with an elderly patient and was turned away with no empathy whatsoever. Obviously, it was quite an ordeal to get this patient to the appointment and for the office staff to show no mercy was very upsetting. I understand having policies like that, but they should have some wiggle room. When I called on Tuesday Feb 24th, the automated voice told me to schedule an appointment on their website. (A side note, if you stay on the line, they offer to call you back. I have tried this option I did not a call back and had to call and wait on hold.) When you go to the website, they only list three doctors who you can schedule with and the soonest appointment is over a month away. They also have Dr. Frantz listed, who I believe has left the practice and Adrienne Shaver, who as stated above, left the practice last year. Having been a patient for so long, I know they have multiple Physician Assistants so I called back. I explained the issues with trying to book online. My pain was too severe to wait that long, but not so severe that I needed to go to urgent care. She then admitted that she could get me in on Thursday, Feb 26th to see a PA. I scheduled a 1:50 pm appointment for that date and immediately entered it into my calendar. When I showed up at 1:49 pm on that Thursday I was told I did not have an appointment. She asked me who I spoke with as if I was lying. Who remembers the names of the receptionists they call to schedule doctor appointments? I politely told her "no, just whoever answered the phone Tuesday afternoon. She asked if I wanted to make another appointment. I said no and left. She offered no assistance in actually fixing the issue that was clearly hers to address. How about checking with the staff to see if they could possibly fit me in? How about any sign of empathy for the fact that I had to rearrange my schedule and take time off work to drive there? By the way, there was not one patient in the waiting area so I have a hard time believing they couldn't have fit me in at some point that afternoon. After leaving, I called the office asking to speak with a manager about my experiences. After waiting on hold twice to speak to the right person, I was told the manager just happened to be stepping into a meeting and she would call me back the next day. Obviously, I am skeptical that I caught her just as she was stepping into a meeting at 3 pm on a Thursday, but I understand. I told myself I would give her a chance to redeem herself by actually calling back. She did not call me back. If you read their reviews, especially lately, you will see a pattern forming to which they have a canned response about not discussing patient information and to call the office and they will address the issue. This just shows the fact that they don't care. You want an upset client to take more time out of their day to call your office and wait on hold to be told that the manager is not available and will call them back but never actually call them back? How hard would it be for you to call those patients back? This little action would go a long way. Either way, you have lost my business.
I have seen Tiffany Steck NP for some GI issues at the clinic. She was attentive to my concerns and informative as to some of the possible causes and solutions to help resolve my issue. She was personable and polite. I was able to get in for appointments relatively easily considering they are a busy clinic. 100% recommend.
Do not go here. They're a scam. Sent me to collections. They will tell you one price and then charge you more. I'm self pay, they won't see you until you pay the full amount. I did and they charged me again. Don't do endoscopy here. They will tell you have inflammation and to up your dosage of omprzl. Scammers. I went to a holistic doctor, got a test done and figured out what I had, problem solved. Yall deleted my last review. This place is such a scam I had to rewrite my review.
The medical treatment several years ago was fine, but I'm leaving for terrible communication. The policy seems to be to never answer the phone. If you want to schedule an appointment, you must either wait for a call back or request one online (and that's just a request; you don't get an appointment right then). I requested an appointment online and was not told they had scheduled one in my behalf until the day before with a text. Before that, I had no email or phone notification. When I tried to cancel, I was on a call back wait at 4:15 pm and never heard from them. They use their phone tree as a stone wall.
This office does not answer the phones or, if you choose the 'call back option,' they don't do that, either. After my endoscopy, the doctor ordered me to take a medication daily going forward, but only ordered a 30-day supply. The 30 second consult, which took place when I was barely coherent ofter the procedure, was fine but did not address my concerns, AND I can't make an appointment to get more information.
