The Surgery Center At Edgewater

Today marked my second visit to the Surgery Center at Edgewater, and I continue to be impressed by their consistent commitment to delivering exceptional patient care. From the moment of arrival through discharge, every staff member I interacted with demonstrated professionalism and courtesy. The team—including receptionists, nursing staff (Joy, Melissa, and Robin), physician assistants, as well as Dr. Ronald Singer (orthopedic surgeon) and Dr. Sair (anesthesiologist)—exhibited genuine compassion and attentiveness, ensuring my comfort and well-being throughout my visit. Their dedication contributed to a positive and reassuring experience, even in situations that could potentially be stressful. I would confidently select the Surgery Center at Edgewater again in the future and sincerely appreciate their exemplary care and respectful approach toward all patients.

I especially loved the people who took care of me from the lady who checked me in to Brandon and Tiara? in Anesthesia. My first nurse’s name I didn’t catch, but she was a beautiful Asian lady who was personable and friendly as well as professional and proficient. She made me feel safe, secure, and ready for surgery and also made me laugh. My post-op nurse was Ginger. I really cannot say enough about her. She was down-to-earth and friendly and gave me confidence that I was a “rock star” ( her words) and would do great at home. She also made it clear what I needed to do at home and made sure my daughter and I understood. But even more than all that, she made me feel more like a person she knew than a patient. The cleanliness of the place and the explanations of all the procedures before and while they were being done helped me relax. I definitely recommend Edgewater and in particular Dr. Singer. I had a wonderful there today.

What a great experience! This was my 2nd foot surgery in a year and what a difference from the hospital where I had to go the first time due to the plate and screws needed which the insurance wouldn't cover at the surgery center. My arrival time was 9am and I was out of there by noon. Check in was a breeze and I was called back within 15 minutes or so. Dr. Harris and his team were great. They had warming gowns that pump warm air by a tube with a remote you can adjust the temperature while waiting for surgery...so cool. My surgery went as planned and I definitely recommend this location as well as Dr Harris...he is the best foot doctor around.

Every person I came into contact with was wonderful! I loved my nurses. The anesthesiologists were great. Explained everything several times which I appreciate. The OR staff was amazing. So knowledgeable coupled with so much kindness. I was so nervous and they were just so reassuring. I had a great experience.

I have had my share of surgical procedures, but none better than the one that I had today. The entire staff from check in to discharge was incredible. Very friendly, helpful, and professional. The place was a full house and the respective teams seemed to be highly organized and efficient. I wish I could remember more names for recognition but "eyes" and Ginger in pre op and post op were fantastic. Dr Rankin from anesthesia was very informative and Dr Singer is the best in the business.
