My experience with Bladder & Bowel Institute was outstanding! From the moment you walked in the door to the moment you were prepping for surgery to install the Interstim system to meeting Dr.Taylor to having the pickup service from Randy for me and my daughter who drove 3 hours to and from so I could have the trial as well as the surgery to the follow up phone calls that I have received. The service is outstanding !!! I got my life back and I am so happy and very grateful!

My interstitial has been a life saver. I use to know where the bathroom was wherever I went. Now I can go hours without needing to use the restroom. I have had a couple replacements since the first one. Not because they didn't work but because they improved the other ones. I use to have to recharge the battery but the latest one never needs charging. They also replaced the charging device that makes it easy to turn off while having a MRI or CT. It looks like a cell phone.

Hello! It's been 6 months since I had the Medtronic InterStim placed. I waited before reviewing to make sure it wasn't a fluke that this really worked. This has literally been a life changer for me. I'm 68 years old and still very active. The urinary frequency and urgency had become embarrassing and a real nuisance. Always planning around where the next bathroom would be, or if I should even go anywhere. From the moment I stepped into Dr Taylor's office until now, 6 months later, the staff has been efficient, friendly, and courteous. I have had no problems at all and if I did I know that I can call to speak to someone. They made regular follow-up calls to check on how things were going. I am currently travelling. Driving, flying, hiking, visiting and just daily activities are so much better without the worry of making it to the next bathroom! If you are thinking about getting the InterStim, I would really encourage you to do the external placement trial, and see how it works for you. This procedure has changed my life! I couldn't even sleep because I had to get up every hour. Now I can sleep through the night! Dr. Taylor is great. He answered all my questions and explained the procedure. The staff is very friendly and professional, the facility is gorgeous, well-staffed and well organized. The transport service is a big plus! I have gotten regular follow up calls and quick response to any questions I've had over the past 2 years. Thank you so much!

I highly recommend having this procedure done! It's been about 4 years since I had it done and am satisfied. Recently I had to have an MRI which required suspending it. It was several days afterwards before I could reactivate it and I was pleasantly shocked to find out how well it really was working. I'd say it is a 70% overall improvement with it.
