Everyone I came in contact with was kind and caring. The front desk staff was wonderful. Vickie was fantastic. She explained every test and the eye drops, and numbing drops She made me feel relaxed in a stressful situation (stressful for me). Dr. McDonel was so nice . He explained everything that he was checking as well as my results. He informed me that my outcome could not be determined until surgery and recovery/ healing.He explained the possible worst and best case scenarios. I am scheduled to see the surgeon tomorrow to review my case. Surgery will be soon. I am scared but feel comforted in knowing I have great doctors. My thanks to all. I highly recommend St.Luke’s at Lake Sumter Landing.
Always a pleasure to have St Luke’s looking after my vision. I was seen almost right away. The lobby was full, but I think most of the others were Cataract patients. Very thorough exam as always and everyone is a true professional.
Had my cataract eye follow-up appointment cancelled three times. Today when I called in to get a new date I was informed I had to wait another 4 months to see a doctor. Really?
I made an appointment with St. Luke’s five months ago to have surgery on my eyes. Today the 13th three days before my appointment they called me a couple days ago. I just called them back and they don’t have a doctor anymore. That’s gonna do the surgical anymore and they would refer me to someone else like 50 miles away or wait till next year 2026 so if I could give them zero stars, I would’ve given them zero stars.
The office staff were kind and efficient. Dr Ireland was wonderful, very thorough and very pleasant! Very happy to found this office, highly recommend!!
