I made a trip to the emergency room which resulted in telling me I needed to get in to see my gastroenterologist ASAP. I made an appointment and expressly made them aware that I had over a 2 Hour Drive and that I was going to be 10 to 15 minutes late and asked specifically if that was OK and if I would be seen and I was assured I would be so I proceeded to drive there. I got within five minutes of the office and called to let them know I was close and was told that they would not see me because I was late. I explained that I had called ahead and was assured I would be seen and was told that they would not see me. I then asked if I could reschedule and was told that they would not reschedule me and that I would have to find another doctor. I have been a patient of this office for over 10 years and have always been treated with respect and kindness. I am very disappointed in the way I was treated and will be finding another doctor.
