Usually 10/10 love my kids pediatrician and our usual nurse Jodi. Today however I took my 4 month old in for his check up and vaccines. The vaccine Jodi gave was noticeably gentle and quick however the other nurse that administered his second vaccine in his other leg was obviously rougher and left a bruise on my baby's thigh. Definitely be picky with your nurses here. Usually again its a 10/10 experience but if youre going to work with babies/kids atleast have the decency to be gentle when it comes to needles. Nobody should be leaving bruises when they usually dont bruise. This isn't just a side effect as hes had numerous other vaccines/shots or IV's even and hasn't bruised with any of those.

I don’t even know where to start. I went in thinking I might have a fractured foot. They took an X-ray, had me in and out in about 15 minutes, and sent me home with zero answers. Later that day, I get a call that starts with, “I don’t know what they want me to tell you,” — seriously? Then she says it might be gout, but probably not, or maybe a foreign object in my foot, but she’s not sure. How do you say something like that with a straight face? It was painfully obvious that no one there had a clue what they were doing. Every person I spoke to sounded completely lost. The next day, I get another useless call telling me it’s not gout because my bloodwork came back fine — yet still no explanation, no diagnosis, no answers. When I asked what’s going on, I was told to “call my primary.” I’m traveling and don’t even live in this state, so that’s not even an option. The whole experience was beyond unprofessional. These are unskilled employees pretending to be medical professionals. It was a total waste of time and money, and I left with more confusion than when I walked in. Absolutely incompetent across the board.

Whoever the new patient access rep in pediatrics needs to find a new career. Completely rude and incompetent. Especially when my son is just trying to figure out how to check himself (newly 18) in as an adult. Don't roll your eyes at him and learn how to multitask!

Really nice people here. The pharmacists are always willing to help you with medication questions and concerns. The front area persons are very patient with their customers and go out of their way to accommodate our needs. Very professional and reliable services. I would highly recommend Sanford West Dickinson Clinic.
