If I can do more than five stars I would. From the first appointment till today 4 days post-op I have been very happy about my experience overall. I highly recommend the center and their staff. They made me feel very welcome comfortable and confident to go through my surgery. My doctor from The hand center on the second floor was Dr bag and he was amazing as well. I am very happy with my results and glad I have this center and staff with me along my journey. Thank you all for the best experience.
My 7 year old daughter had knee surgery by Dr. Rush here at Methodist Surgery Center Texas Center for Athletes on April 2, 2024. When we arrived there were no wheelchairs available at the entrance, but Melissa at registration was quick in getting one out to our vehicle with no problem at all. Melissa was also the person to get us registered and the process was smooth and quick. Once called back my daughter was greeted by Kathy her Pre-op nurse. She was an absolute sweetheart! She talked to my daughter about cats (since my daughter had a cat plushy with her) and showed her pictures of her pets as well. She made my little girl feel very comfortable and happy. A short time after, Mr. Medina the anesthesiologist came in and explained everything he would be doing while my daughter was in surgery. Soon after, Dr. Rush came in and went over the surgery plan once more. He was in great mood and of course that always makes a patient feel good. The recovery room nurse Kimberly was also very kind. She spoke to my child (who was waking up slowly) in a very calm and soothing voice. The discharge nurse Alton was just a great! Everyone that came across my daughter was very nice and gentle with her. I am very happy with the care and attention my child had here at Methodist Surgery Center!
Had actually 3 surgeries there today. Two hands and elbow. Staff was wonderful including nurses Lisa, 2 Kathy's and Dr Baggs. Especially liked the front desk person getting married soon. I'm sure I forgot some, but thank you all for taking great care of me today!
Very amazing staff. My daughter had her ear tubes placed in 1/5/22 and from the beginning to the end of the procedure it was a great experience and I was not worried one bit. You guys have awesome nurses in this facility, thank you for caring about my daughter like family! Highly recommend!
My son had surgery here yesterday and I just want to say the entire staff is awesome. From the front desk to the recovery room nurses. This was my sons first surgery and he was not nervous at all due to the wonderful nurse who provided excellent care. Lisa - who explained what IV was to him, Mirta, and Kim. Thank you once again for being such an awesome facility!!!
