Went for hand surgery I saw Dr.Foster for a couple of minutes before surgery I think the person that makes Orthoillinois a great place is his staff ,like Val McCannon she's the first person I saw She sat down and took the time to explain ever detail ever question never in a hurry to get to the next task. Very very caring and always smiling maybe she laughing at me or with me. Doesn't matter she is the GREATEST !!!! THANK YOU VAL!!! Dr van Theil was very informative about the surgery he was going to be performing a bucket handle tear in the miniscus. After the surgery he came into my recovery and explained how things went. I was able to put weight on the knee almost immediately. I would recommend his services he is diffently straight to the point when explaining things and he gives you more than one option for treatment so your not locked into surgery immediately. His team also is very kind and knowlegable and just over all made me feel comfortable. Respectfully Michael Markudon
