I would give Ravine Way Surgery Center 5 stars for the service I received the day of my operation. Everyone was courteous, friendly, and professional. The facility itself appeared clean and well kept. And fortunately, I was told the surgery went well. However, they get 0 stars for their follow up. Before being discharged I was told someone from the surgery center would call me the next day to check up on me. It’s now 3 days after surgery and I’ve still not received a call from them. In my opinion, this is a big failure on their part. I’ve had more surgeries than I care to admit to and NOT ONCE did the place I had the surgery at neglect to call me the next day to check and see how I was doing. Very disappointing to say the least.

Happy to read of patient focus and patient safety. However I’ve trained hospital personnel in regard to registration and would appreciate eye contact with the patient when checking in. It’s busy but no one was behind us and you can take 30 seconds to look at us. I would also appreciate knowing when I’m not allowed to be with my spouse during an hour of prep. Even during a two hour heart ablation prep I was allowed to stay with my husband. This is a first and it’s a horrible way to begin waiting for surgery. They seem to be all about operational excellence and not about care of the caregivers or family. No access to drinks or snacks in the waiting room. Bring food and drink with you!!

I have had two hand surgeries here in the last two months. Both experiences were fantastic. Wonderful nursing staff! Very skilled and kind! Anesthesiologists we’re also very good and professional. The facility is very clean and organized. So if you are having outpatient surgery at Raven way don’t fear you will be well taken care of.

I gave Ravine (R) $2500 10/17/23 as a deposit in case BCBS did not cover the procedure. Since I had checked in advance, I was confident my procedure was covered, even though it was not in a hospital. The total procedure gross cost was $24151. Blue Cross has confirmed the full amount is covered by my policy, Last November BC paid $4505 to the surgeon and anesthesiologist To date they have not paid any of Ravine's $19646 bill. The problem according to BC is Ravine's coding is incorrect. Despite monthly contacts with Ravine, they have been unable to correct their coding problems. And they refuse to refund my $2500 despite my procedure being 100% covered

I fell and suffered a compound fracture on my left arm on 05/06/2023 at around 7:30 PM. I was rushed by an ambulance to the emergency room. I required surgery to fix it, but the hospital doctor was unable to do the procedure due to a lot of trauma patients coming in and out. I was referred to Dr. Robert Gray to fix my broken arm. Both of the bones were broken so I required surgery. On the day of my appointment, I was so nervous about getting this done. But the nurses and staff made me very comfortable and put me at ease. The anesthesiologist went over the plan of what he was going to do with the anesthesia, and I was very comfortable with the plan. The procedure took about three hours to complete. When I woke up, the nurse gave me cookies and a cup of water. That was really helpful. Dr. Gray did a great job with the surgery. I don’t remember anything while I was under anesthesia. I am day one of the procedure and while I’m in so much pain, I am following all of his instructions and am recovering very well. I am just so grateful with Ravine Way Surgery Center with the way they fixed my broken arm and the way they were able to get me in right away. Thanks to all the nurses and anesthesiologist at Ravine Way Surgery Center and thank you Dr. Gray!!
