I have been going to Doctor Van Nielen for a couple of years now for knee pain. I am 11 weeks out my second partial knee replacement, patellofemoral arthroplasty. Had several cortizone injections prior, until I was ready for surgery. They all went well. Both surgeries went really well. They did a fantastic job, including on the incision scar, which I can't even see on the first one. They were great on support before & after surgery and including in the weeks after during PT. First knee is fully functional and pain free (1 year out). Second one is getting close after only 11 weeks. Highly recommend Dr Van Nielen and company.
From the Reception staff, to Dr. Higgins’ medical assistant, Trent, to my visit with Dr. Higgins, I could not ask for a better experience! The friendliness and professionalism of each individual with whom I interacted was exceptional. Dr. Higgins listened carefully to my concerns, answered all of my questions to the best of his ability, and although I left without a clear answer as to what was causing my knee pain, I felt confident that Dr. Higgins’ offer to consult with another surgeon would, at a minimum, help me to be understand what next steps I could take. It was a gift to have a physician hear my concerns and take them seriously. I would recommend Dr. Higgins without reservation
Dr. Van Nielen performed a hip replacement for me last year and looks like I'll be having another one soon. He did a great job with the first replacement and I had no post-op problems, so I am confident that my second with be just as successful. A great bedside manner with straightforward explanations.
New patient intake appointment for physician review of a joint discomfort issue. The appointment started on time. They needed x-rays and sent me up one floor where I was seen immediately. Back down to the second floor where I was seen by the physician a few minutes later. Intake receptionist was efficient polite and professional. As was the nurse that took me back and took notes about the issue and my medical history. Dr Lin was, as surgeons tend to be - in my experience - very clinical. He was polite, informative and answered every question I had thoroughly. My experience so far is that this is a solid clinic with great personnel.
Dr. Vaudreuil seemed very knowledgeable and caring. He was friendly and communicated well and good clear plan for helping me recover from my injury. I had also recently seen Dr. Huang for a different injury and his skills were great and assessment were clear. I would strongly recommend them and Everett Bone & Joint.
