They took great care of my toddler for his surgery. They communicated well and made sure my toddler was scheduled for first thing in the morning so he didn't have to fast too long. They checked about my insurance twice, so there was no mixup there. I was given plenty of opportunity to ask questions. They were really good with my toddler and with us, who were a little nervous about taking our 2yo in for surgery. The only note I did have was a bit of a raised eyebrow at their movie choice first thing in the morning. It was the Secret of NIMH and there were definitely some terrified toddlers as they were the first patients of the day😅😂

I had an unusually difficult surgery to perform involving my eye. Dr. Olson did an amazing job and saved my sight! I’ll always be grateful for his care and skill.

Have caused my parents so much grief. They chose to bill the wrong insurance for my mother's surgery, and it took 4 calls and the bill going to collections before it was handled correctly. The woman who I initially spoke to was rude and clearly did not care about resolving the issue. My father recently also had surgery, and it took 2 weeks for the doctors to send the notification of surgery paperwork to his job. That means my dad missed getting paid and will have to wait 2 more weeks because of this delay. Just really bad business practices from the administration side of the staff it seems.

They made me feel comfortable and reassured, answering all of my questions and addressing any concerns I had. They were not only highly skilled and knowledgeable but also incredibly attentive and caring. They ensured that I was well-informed about the procedure, explaining every step in detail and offering reassurance throughout. Their kindness and patience made a significant difference in alleviating any anxiety I had before the surgery. Dr. Pavel Nockel, my surgeon, demonstrated an exceptional level of expertise and professionalism. From the initial consultation to the actual surgery, Dr. Pavel Nockel meticulously explained the procedure, outlined potential risks, and discussed the expected outcomes. His expertise and confidence instilled a sense of trust in his abilities, leaving me with no doubts about the successful outcome of the surgery. I cannot forget to mention the anesthesiologist, who played a vital role in ensuring my comfort and safety during the procedure. The anesthesiologist took the time to explain the anesthesia process, addressed my concerns about potential side effects, and closely monitored me throughout the surgery. Their expertise and attention to detail greatly contributed to a smooth and painless experience. Overall, I am incredibly grateful to the entire team at the New Mexico Surgery Center. Surgery from February 2024 still hasn't been billed correctly for insurance to pay in December 2024. Forced us to pay $2500 deposit that we can't get back until insurance has processed and paid the claim. Worst medical billing experience I've had.
