I was so happy when I found a woman gastroenterologist because perhaps I wouldn’t be dismissed, but she was the most dismissive doctor of them all. She was trying to convince me my weight/eating issue was an eating disorder during the appointment even when I stressed it was not. I’ve been at this for over a year, I would know by now. I felt awful after the appointment and so dismissed, disappointed. She didn’t even review my endoscopy records before accusing me of a ED.. I had to ASK her myself if she saw it? But my disappointment grew x10 when I saw she had listed me as “Anorexic” on my medical records. I am devastated by this treatment and highly recommend everyone avoids this doctors office.

Such a disappointing experience. Let me start my saying I really liked Dr. Tang, although I only saw her for all of 5 mins. I walked in, weight was taken, asked what medications I was on and the nurse left. Dr. Wang walked me through everything and told me the course of medication I needed. When I got home, at some point over the next couple days, I got a notice that I had notes in my chart from my visit. So I took a look at them, there was a blood pressure reading, a pulse reading, and an O2 reading. The nurse didnt take any of those vitals. I called the office and inquired about it. I was called a liar by the office manager after she spoke to Dr. Tang and the nurse. Then she said it was a he said she said situation and there was nothing she could do about it. This nurse falsified my medical records. This can be detrimental to patients and should not be happening. I can't trust this office or the staff to provide the care that I need as a patient and therefore, I will have to move on.

I was shocked to see the many 1 and two star reviews because both of my experiences were excellent. The front desk staff was courteous, respectful, organized and efficient. The nursing staff was phenomenal. I had two procedures at this facility and each time I was treated with the utmost care and respect. **Shout out to RN Shannon! Dr. Lindy and the anesthesiologists who cared for me were thorough, compassionate, and managed to make me laugh, which helped ease my nerves prior to slipping off into “sleepy land.” I wish I could remember the names of everyone who assisted me but if you’re reading this and you were part of my care team just know this review is written about you. Thank you Dr. Lindy and staff! You’re amazing!

I use to go to the Sparta office but Dr. Medunik moved away, so I decided to go back to seeing Dr. Kozak in the other Sparta office but she has now retired. Both doctors were great & now I've seen the nurse practitioner who was super great & informative. Most of the ladies in the office are great at either location. My issue with this practice which I believe started during or after COVID is that they tell you at the desk during sign in that you owe no money. Then a couple of weeks later you get a bill only to be followed by another bill a few weeks later with finance charges on it. I didn't finance my office visit, nothing like giving someone a chance to pay the bill either via mail or at their next office visit, the cost to mail the second bill was more than the finance charge......this charge is stupid & ridiculous.

Dr. Lindy & his minions did a great job today. They explained everything to me, environment was calm and peaceful, very professional, even the music was right. Thank YOU for making this easy & pain free.
