The procedure my wife had at Perimeter went wonderfully until I had to deal with the billing office. We paid a large co-pay bill that they noted had been resolved by my insurance, only to find out that my insurance fully covered the procedure. When trying to recoup my my copay six months after the procedure (providing documented proof of the situation from my insurance company), I merely got a response that they were "looking into it." Still no response one month later so I threatened to take them to small claims court fro money that was rightfully mine. I was about to file after two more weeks of no response and then was paid a small portion back so I held off filing in hopes the other payment was right behind it. Three more weeks followed before I got the rest back. They held my funds for over 8 months with no interest (which they would surely charged me for late payment) and never an apology for their lack of response. We received great service from the medical professionals - but ultra lousy service in the accounting/billing office (which is run by a central nationwide group they are part of). Come for great care, but beware and don't pay your bills from them until you hear from your insurance company and only when you absolutely have to.

Everything went like clockwork! Very clean and organized. My Wife had a procedure and I was the getaway driver 😎 Besides the receptionist being a little grumpy at 630am, everyone was kind and helpful. They text you a progress text every step of the way. When taking your loved one home be advised the "Patient Loading Zone" is the single parking spot to the left of the covered entrance & door. There is a small (hard-to-read) sign in that parking spot.

What wonderful people to encounter regarding my surgery. The very special lady who checked me in.... so kind, all smiles, so helpful. The nurses who got me set up pre-op, so happy, so kind, so funny..... no stress before surgery. The anesthesiologist was very good ( we chatted about college football). The surgical nurses were just wonderful. In a day when customer service sucks so bad..... these people so clearly get it and more importantly, they clearly love what they do. It is not a job for them..... it is a career/life style. Forget the hospitals.... use this place for your next "out-patient" surgery. Plus you will save ton of money!!!!!

USE AT YOUR OWN RISK. Went in for a relatively simple procedure but in post op I wasn't waking up well. They gave narcan several times and proceeded to give my mom discharge instructions. when my mom became scared I wasn't responding, anesthesia said I was fine and transferred me to a wheel chair to go to the bathroom. they wanted me out as I was the last patient of the day and all the staff had left (very unsafe). My mom was insistent that my face was drooping and left arm wasn't moving. meanwhile, they are again trying to discharge me. Finally my mom refused to take me home and demanded EMS because she knows what a stroke is and felt I was having one. finally EMS was called and I did indeed stroke massively at 38years old and completely healthy prior. Relearned to walk and spent 8 weeks at Shepherd. lost work for 6 months (I'm a healthcare provider). looking at the records, all this is charted except that anesthesia claims it was him who noted the symptoms and called EMS. I also seem to have had high BP throughout surgery which I don't normally. who knows if that's why I stroked but I do have serious concerns about staffing, their ability to notice an acute problem and the desire to rush people out. no one ever called to explain the surgery so that seemed odd. on top of that they sent me to collections for a $900+ bill prior to even issuing an initial bill (one I didn't owe since I pre paid). that being said, I will have any surgery in the future in a hospital and will stay far far away from this facility and outpatient centers in general.

If you want to be blind-sighted with huge up-front fees that they don’t tell you about until you arrive for surgery, come here! Nice stressful environment as you get ready to be operated on. Staff will not return calls or give you the necessary information you need to prepare for your surgery. AVOID.
