As a business owner myself, I truly appreciate great customer service and attention to detail, and Memorial Eye Institute exceeded my expectations. From the pre-op process to post-op care, the staff was incredibly friendly, professional, and thorough in guiding me every step of the way. Everyone—from the front desk to the nurses and doctors—made sure I felt comfortable and well-informed about the procedure and recovery process. The level of care and professionalism was outstanding. I highly recommend Memorial Eye Institute to anyone looking for exceptional eye care.

Dr. Michael Silvetti is the best! He is so knowledgeable and kind. I've already scheduled appointments for my family with him. It's rare that you come across a medical professional/doctor who's personality shines as much as his knowledge. Dr. Silvetti is the real deal. I took my 9 year old son for his annual eye exam. His previous doctor is no longer with the practice, so I asked the appointment scheduler to pair me with who she thought was best with kids. So glad she made the right recommendation. He immediately connected with my son and made me laugh. My 11 year old daughter liked him too. We are an African American family and felt so welcomed. I've been a long-time patient and this is my son's second time. All the doctors are good but Dr. Silvetti is special. He is a star! Thanks Dr. Silvetti and Memorial Eye Institute for being the best at what you do!

I had an extremely unprofessional and frustrating experience at Memorial Eye Institute on Linglestown Road. I was brought back for my eye exam only to be told afterward that the doctor was running 1.5 to 2 hours behind. If that’s the case, patients should not be taken back and made to wait without warning—especially when people have work and other obligations. I told them I had to be at work by 4:30. When I asked why patients were still being brought back despite such a long delay, I requested a supervisor and was directed to Anna Mary. She claimed the delay was due to “one upset patient,” which made no sense since everyone there was waiting well past their appointment time. It felt dishonest and dismissive. Things escalated unnecessarily when I asked for her supervisor’s phone number. Instead of providing it, she had the assistant office manager, Heather, call 911—simply because I asked for a number. I was not threatening, loud, or out of control. That response was completely inappropriate and unprofessional. This office lacks transparency, respect for patients’ time, and basic customer service skills. Calling the police on a patient for asking to speak to a higher-up is unacceptable. I would strongly recommend going elsewhere for eye care.

Dr. Kowalsky is excellent - I've been seeing him for years. Staff are wonderful. My only complaint is the kiosk checkin. Really, patients bring alot of money to this practice - it would seem more appreciative to have a human check us in at the front desk.

In the past wait times were an issue but they said they've been working to correct the problem and certainly seem to have addressed it. Checked in and was called back within 5 minutes. Prepped and seen by my Doctor in short order. Very pleasant experience.
