I had a mammogram there today and it was a horrible experience. The lady that did my exam didn't even make eye contact with me when speaking to me. She gave me open ended directions on how to undress and where to go. The exam was the worst part. I'm not new to this, I've had several. I'm a well endowed woman and she claimed she was having trouble getting me all in the frame. I've never had that problem before. She rushed around me pulling on me and being gruff. I wasn't covered. Just standing there with both of my breast out of the gown for no reason. When i tried to cover the breast that wasnt being examed she pushed the cape back over my shoulder. Usually one breast is out and the other covered. Also. I'm not a modest person but the whole thing made me very self conscious. When it was over she said " you're done have a great day" from the otherside of the plexiglass without even looking up. I will never go back.
I had my screening mammogram here and I had to come back for some additional views and sonogram. Everyone was great help from the front desk Brandi and Robin than mammogram technicians Sheryl and Debbie who made this very pleasant experience for me. Also the sonogram tech Amy was amazing and the Radiologist Dr. Hogan was super nice and funny. Five star service!!!!!
Today I had a breast biopsy. The doctor, Dr Walker, the two staff members attending me, were the best!! I had a previous breast biopsy years ago at PRMC and I must say it was a horrible experience! So, I was very apprehensive about today's procedure. Well, from beginning to end, the procedure today was amazing!! It took only 45 minutes and was an awesome experience, with minimal pain (only from the lidocaine shot). The rest was no problem. I was made to feel so at ease, with everything explained along the way. All went well and I left after 45 minutes, no problems! GREAT job to you all at the Breast Surgery Center! Thank you, Katherine Jarvis
