I have had the pleasure of receiving some of the best health care at UNC, Duke, Vanderbilt, Cedars, and Seattle, and this clinic has been one of my best experiences so far. Yes, there's a wait for a procedure, but they tell you in advance, no big deal, it was like that at Vanderbilt and St Thomas. All thr nurses were so kind, the doctors were lovely, and the front desk was professional—just a very caring and supportive helath care team. My pcp called me as I was walking out. The clinic sent the results quickly, that's amazing.
Review for Dr. Lee Y. Rating: ★☆☆☆☆ (Zero stars if I could) I am writing this to warn others: Do NOT trust your health to Dr. Lee Y. and his team. After undergoing a colonoscopy—which involves a difficult prep, time off work, and thousands of dollars—I was told the unthinkable: They lost my polyp samples. A polyp is a large tissue growth that needs to be tested for cancer. Because they lost the samples, there is now NO way to know if that tissue was benign or life-threatening. Instead of taking responsibility for this massive clinical failure, Dr. Lee dismissively told me that the "chances of cancer are minimum" and to just come back in 5 years instead of 7. How can a doctor guess about cancer when they lost the only evidence? It is medically negligent and completely unacceptable. This facility cares more about overcharging insurance and collecting fees than they do about the lives of their patients. They made a high-stakes mistake and offered zero solutions, zero refunds, and zero accountability. If you want a doctor who actually tracks your diagnostic samples and cares about your survival, go somewhere else. This place is a factory that treats patients like a paycheck, not a person. this is my opinion based on actual recent facts.
On Sept 27, 2025, My wife proceeded with her Colonoscopy procedure in GOOD FAITH*, based on the financial agreement she signed prior to procedure, which stated she would be billed MONTHLY. After the procedure, the office determined the payment method was CareCredit and CHARGED THE FULL BALANCE TO MY CARD not even applying the CORRECT INSURANCE COPAY under my wife’s policy. In doing so, they VOIDED THE FINANCIAL AGREEMENT SIGNED failed to provide a copy of that agreement, and stated they could not honor monthly payments through CareCredit. When my wife requested to change the credit card or correct the charge, the Office Manager refused to assist and Instead told us to file a dispute with CareCredit—*Rather than Refunding the INCORRECT CHARGE and Honoring the ORIGINAL AGREEMENT made Before the procedure.. This experience has been EXTREMELY FRUSTRATING AND DISAPPOINTING. As a result, we have COMPLETELY LOST TRUST in this office and how they handle patient billing and financial agreements.
My husband had his first colonoscopy here. He does not like being touched by strangers, so I expected an anxiety attack from him. And I was right, as soon as we were separated and they took his blood pressure, his anxiety set in. He asked the nurse to get me, and she did. Once I got back there (pre-procedure), he started to calm down. His nurse, Andrea, was fantastic. She was calm, kind, patient and had great communication with both of us. Once he was feeling better and about to go in the room for the procedure, the RN, doctor and anesthesiologist came by, all were kind and professional. Post procedure was the same, Andrea was incredible. Even though it was an uncomfortable situation for him to be in, he felt like he was in good hands and was as comfortable as he could be in the moment. Everyone, from the front desk, to the medical team was excellent.
I give this place a five star rating. Diana my nurse was so comforting and very friendly. She answered all my questions and sure gave me some good laughs. Also my husband’s questions were answered too. I needed her she should be commended for the great job she does. My doctor was Dr. David Shih and he was very nice too. The nurses in surgery were awesome and the anesthesiologist was very good at what he does. I never got sick . I was awake right away and my husband took me to Costco shopping. This is a very clean place and the care is phemomenal. This is the place to go!
