First visit with Dr. Suarez and it was such a great experience! He was friendly, thorough, and took the time to answer all my questions. And Alexa deserves a big shout-out — she was so warm, bubbly, and fun! Her energy made the whole visit feel relaxed and welcoming. Not something you usually say about a GI appointment, but I actually left smiling. Highly recommend!

Had an endoscopy with Dr. Robbins on 11/25/2025. Procedure was well executed by all staff; prep nurses were great. Started that IV like the pros they are. Took a nice nap courtesy of their great anesthesiologist and awoke without so much as a scratchy throat. Highly recommend them!

These scopes cost 3 times what other providers charge. Even with good bcbs insurance just a scope cost me almost $1500 versus around $500 I was paying at other locations. They send you separate bills from different service providers for the anesthesia, the digestive office, and the endoscopy center and the bills just keep on coming months after the procedure is over. Every time you think you're done, more bills show up. I've had it with these guys.

Five stars for Dr. Michael Sagatelian and his staff at Palmetto Digestive Disease & Endoscopy in West Ashley! As colonoscopies go, this one was relatively easy and the prep was very tolerable. I have been a patient at their office for years, and they have always been very professional, and their procedures are performed in the West Ashley office. They have several other locations as well. I highly recommend this practice! -Pattie Rivers-

I had an appointment with Dr. Robbins for two procedures. From start to finish, the staff, nurses and doctor were wonderful! Everything went smoothly, and I felt like I was in very good hands. I highly recommend Palmetto Digestive Center!
