I don’t even know where to start. My appointment was changed several times and somehow changed back to a previous date which resulted in me needing to reschedule. So months later and a gazillion pages of forms later I finally go in. During their evaluation, the nurse interrupted and put words in my mouth once. She called one of the medications that I’m on a muscle relaxer and it isn’t. She left the room, came back in later and told me that there wasn’t anything they could do for me and the doctor would not even see me. I probably would’ve been ok if the doctor would’ve told me. No disrespect to the nurse, but I was there to see the doctor. So yes in case they come back and say that I was upset. I did not yell or be disrespectful to the nurse. I did say something that would be disrespectful to the Doctor, but they didn’t want to even see me so why should I care? I would not recommend this place if it was the last place on earth. For the Doctor to not even take the time to talk to me and evaluate me was the worst treatment that I’ve ever received from a Doctor. I have seen a lot of doctors in my life, especially this last few years trying to figure out my issues. I think if the doctor would’ve taken the time to see me then we would’ve resolved any miscommunication, but they didn’t take the time to see me. For the nurse to talk about one of my medications and honestly, I didn’t know what all it was used for, was not the right thing to do. She probably told the doctor that I was on muscle relaxers when I’m not. Once again, don’t waste months of your time only to be shown the door.

Tried to get an initial appointment to see if doing spinal blocks or epidural injections may help my severe pain… they refuse to even schedule the initial appointment without my social security number. Claiming they can get all my current prescription information with my SSN and that they require this of all their patients before every single appointment. I have never given my pharmacy or doctors my SSN. I have zero intention of getting any prescription medications from them. I am under contract with my PCP to only get medications thru them and 100% plan to keep it that way. Offering to get a current list from my pharmacy before each appointment is not good enough for them.

I recommend not even attempting to use this provider. It's clear they do not care about people living in debilitating pain. For a provider to say there's nothing they can do for you and will not even schedule an appointment to discuss your conditions (after submitting a ton of medical records) shows how extremely unethical Dr Manchikanti is. A professional who is supposed to help people but chooses to not even try is mind boggling to me. Maybe he realizes he's just not a good enough Dr. I am an upstanding human being with a professional career trying my hardest to make it day to day at work while in extreme pain that would cause most people to go on disability yet this Dr doesn't even want to try and help. Hopefully I can find a reputable Dr who does what he's sworn to do. I pray Dr Manchikanti never needs a pain management Dr that treats him with this level of discontent.

Good place. Friendly staff. Knowledgeable and compassionate physicians. The doctor and staff are friendly and they have really helped me. BUT don't ever call the MA line in Carbondale because they never return calls. I've been in horrible pain since January 1 st due to a procedure they performed. I'm being refused my stronger pain meds until the 21st. I am so baffled and disappointed by all of this.

The office staff is deplorable, they treat everyone as drug seekers. Everything I deal with is backed up with medical history, x-rays, blood work and extensive surgical history for pain inducing disorders. Trying to have a quality of life with multiple painful diagnosis is hard enough without being talked to as if I am a drug abuser when I am actually an educated responsible adult who has never even been drunk. I am a trained medical biller currently unable to work due to spinal Stenosis and 2 types of arthritis. I want my life back not drugs...
