Dr.Ferdows is really the best! His office ladies are great too! I have been having GI issues for a long time, and I feel like just another patient on the list. He really listens and tries to get to the bottom of the issue. THANK YOU TO ALL IN THE OFFICE
While the office staff is very nice, Dr. Ferdows is biased against plus sized people. He assumes because you're overweight that must be the problem. Yes, he ordered tests, but when those came back normal his only response was that I needed to lose weight. I got another opinion and with another test found out I have gall stones. Don't let a DOCTOR belittle you because of your size! That is not all you are!
Dr Ferdows is an amazing GI. I have been working with him for about a year now and we finally found a diagnosis for me. He expresses just as much concern as I do about things and makes me feel heard and seen. Tracy is also amazing. She has gone to bat for me about making a few out of office radiology appointments and helped secure spots for me to get necessary scans done. This team is amazing! Thank you guys for all you do!
Honestly, not impressed. I liked the nurses as they were sweet. The doctor, not so much. I went in there after having vomiting fits and constant stomach pain for 2 years. I got an upper endoscopy and sent results, never had a follow up. Then they gave me some sample medications to help with my stomach acid, then claimed they would send in a pre-authorization and the prescription to my pharmacy. That was almost a month ago. I sent a message with further information about my stomach issues and the doctor cannot be bothered to respond, also a month ago. I feel like it is not my responsibility to "bully" a doctor's office into sending a prescription that they said they would send. I reached out to my PCP and luckily she is on it. Thanks for nothing! :)
The sheer amount of disrespect and bedside reporte that Dr. Mehdi Ferdows had my partner coming home in tears. Disrespectful conversation around weight while not taking time to address issues, listen to patient concerns, and physically touching client trying to console them is highly unethical and would not recommend this practice.
