My doctor performed an ACDF (Anterior Cervical Discectomy and Fusion) on December 1, 2025 at SurgiCare in Bloomington. The front desk staff and nursing team were caring, professional, and attentive. The operating room itself was identical to a hospital operating room, with the latest equipment and technology. The facility was clean and met the highest standards for a hospital surgery environment. They took great care of me, from check-in to post-op. Dr. Eads (my neurosurgeon) is one of the best in the multi-state region. The procedure went perfectly, with a textbook recovery (no problems). I’m grateful to have this facility and medical team in Bloomington, IN!

I can't speak to the medical care, but I must complain about the stupid experience I had here today. I mistakenly parked at Surgicare for my appointment at the Surgery Center which is about 100 steps away (hey, very similar names). While I was in surgery, Surgicare called BPD about an "abandoned vehicle." This would be my 2018 Honda (which in no ways looks derelict), that had been parked there for 45 minutes. BPD then repeatedly called my phone, my daughter's phone, and even went to my house to leave a note to contact them "ASAP." Hard to do when you're in SURGERY. Who does this? It's parking lot; I parked there. Jeez.

I went to Surgi Care for a very minor procedure involving only a few injections by my doctor. I was there for about 45min. I paid my doctor and my anesthesiologist (anesthesia was only used so that I could remain absolutely still while receiving the injections) separately. Surgi Care charged me $15,000 because my doctor used their facility to give me the injections. $15,000 for a facility charge! I have requested an itemized bill twice and have not received one. They also rarely answer their phone. If your doctor insists on using Surgi Care, find a new doctor.

Don’t EVER take your loved ones here for surgery. My husband was having a hard time waking up and I could hear him say stop grabbing me. He was yelling for me and they would NOT let me go back. Like they were punishing him. I was told I could go back after surgery. We have been here since 930 and they are keeping him until 5pm and will not let me see him! They were rude to him to begin with bc he struggles with needles. There was only ONE nurse there that was compassionate. The rest of them need to find a different line of work. As they tell him to be quiet and they are all yelling and laughing. Unbelievable. I have this on recoding as well. As if it’s suppose to be quiet back there for the patients recovering. Then they went over in corner and was whispering. VERY RUDE AND LACK COMPASSION AND PROFESSIONALISM.

I went to surgi care this morning for a scheduled appointment because I have @ pinched nerves in my neck the c3 and c4 upon arrival I was told my appointment had been cancelled with Dr. Beck because I had a bill that had gone to collections for $114.75, Roberta told me that Dr. Becks office cancelled it and should have called me, so of course I called Dr. Becks office only to find out that Roberta lied to me and had told Becky, Dr. Becks scheduler that she had spoke to me and had cancelled my appointment which was a lie!!!!!!!! Meanwhile I have insurance and their charge for the shot was $3900.00. my insurance had paid but mine was an oversight. I wrote them the check, this morning. I pray no one else has to suffer with pain from their neck all down their shoulder elbow and hand. I really like Dr. Beck but I will not go to Surgi care for any thing else even if that means I cannot use Dr. Beck, I will call his office and see if he works out of any other surgical center, if not I need to find a new Dr. I have missed multiple days of work and been to the emergency room 4 times in 8 days, I hate taking meds, I try to muddle through my days as is I am a Hairdresser and working is a great task I hope this helps some one else so they won't have the issues I have had.
