I went in for a hip replacement. The nurses were great and took good care of me and explained post-care to my spouse. My post-op nurse was very personable and caring. The anesthesiologist was great, very compassionate and listened to my concerns. The one thing I was disappointed in is there is no PT to give guidance on how to do important things like getting in and out of bed, using the toilet, going up and down stairs, sitting in a chair, etc The nurse had too many patients to do anything but a cursory explanation on using the crutches. Not good This is a major drawback so I took off 2 stars.
Fabulous care followed exceptional attention to details of risk and patient management; tremendous pre-op patient and caregiver education, and high service level and attentiveness and persistence as needed to close all required communication loops. This will be provider of choice if needed. Nurse Sarah was extraordinary. As photogenic as this place is, photos not permitted.
Just left this center after TKR. Outstanding service and staff from front desk area to discharge-epic team! Efficient and explained every stage of care. Friendly competent staff. Parking garage underneath convenient. I would highly recommend
Three days ago I had surgery there and I received the most excellent care from all the nurses. They were very kind considerate and very helpful. They had trouble putting the IV in and I asked if they Could numb the area before they inserted The needle again in my arm and they did. If I ever had to have surgery surgery again on outpatient basis, this is a place I will choose to go Because of the care I received. The anesthesia doctor, which was a woman I can’t remember her name was very wonderful in my care.
Dr. Smith (anesthesiologist) & the staff were amazing. The best surgical experience i’ve ever had. I showed Dr. Smith my previous anesthesia records and explained my concerns with nausea/vomiting and how it takes me forever to wake up. I felt like she listened and reassured me it would be a different experience. She was completely right! I woke up nausea free and ready to go home! The nurses and front desk staff were super friendly and made me feel comfortable.
