My last appointment was scheduled 2 1/2 hours before I had to be at work. I waited a half an hour to get into an office where my toenails were trimmed. Then I waited for the doctor, and then I waited, some more. I could hear people talking outside my room about their weekend activities when it dawned on me I did not have much time left. I opened the door to see the doctor and two nurses discussing whatever. I said goodbye and left. I must be a glutton for punishment because a few days later I called to make my next appointment which is always scheduled weeks out. The day before the appointment I get a call that the doctor had to go out of town.
