I can’t rate the quality of surgery because it didn’t happen. I had a consult with the Dr.and he indicated that for my surgery I would need general anesthesia so that I wouldn’t move during the procedure. I arrived early at 1:50 for my 2 PM appointment, no food since the previous evening and nothing to drink since 9:30 that morning. Not super happy to have surgery scheduled so late in the day, but was happy to be able to get in for the procedure fairly quickly. However, I didn’t get called back to prep until 4 PM. When they began to get me ready they realized they didn’t have the correct anesthesia, but only the type for twilight sleep. How does this happen? Don’t they coordinate ahead of time? Needless to say, the surgery did not take place. My husband had to wait around because they said he needed to be no longer than 30 minutes away to bring me home - he waited over 2 hours and had to reschedule his obligations for no reason. The staff and Dr. were very nice but did not instill any kind of confidence. I am finding another doctor to reschedule this procedure.
After I checked in, I was called in to see the Doctor only a few minutes late. The staff is so nice and knowledgeable. Dr Cordero is a very good Doctor in making you feel relaxed and very honest on the evaluating your problem.
Kaylene Barrera and her nursing staff Brooke, and Tammi are amazing. Tammi helped Me to ease my nerves right away. Dr. Kaylene Barrerais very experienced and caring. I had a lymphnode removed to biopsy it for cancer due to my history in the Navy and toxic exposure. Dr. Cade thr anesthesiologist is great! The whole team did an amazing job and I would do it again if I had to. I highly recommend!!
Dr. Nouri is the best, very knowledgeable, super friendly and helped me with any concerns I had. My surgery went very well, along with my post op. The reason I leave 3 stars is because it’s so hard to get ahold of anyone at the office. After surgery I had I believe 2 follow up appointments and my next was supposed to be my 6months post opp, well right at my 5 months I called a few times to see if I could get some medicine for extreme nausea. Never heard back. I just figured I would wait for my 6month appointment since I know I had to draw blood, etc. Well I am now 8months post op and haven’t heard from anyone. Thankfully my Primary care doctor ordered bloodwork and I am low on many things. Dr. Nouri is an amazing surgeon, just the lack of care AFTER surgery is upsetting.
Staff is courteous, nothing but smiles. Dr. Owens, cuts to the chase, in a professional manner you appreciate. He's quick with his surgeries and visits, but does an amazing job. Very experienced. We have not one complaint. HIGHLY recommend.
