I’ve had glasses for as long as I can remember. Since age four, to be exact. I developed cataracts in both eyes by the age of 48. Dr. Ford at Eye Associates Group recommended lasik surgery with Dr. Makris. I am grateful that God works through men like them to improve our quality of life. The procedure itself was painless. The staff were great. They explained any and all questions as it related to the procedure. Dr. Makris bed side manner took me back in time. He genuinely cares for his patients. The nurses were awesome. They did everything possible to put you at ease before cataract surgery. Everything was explained in detail before surgery and while awaiting surgery. Dr. Maris is wonderful and kind. He's an exceptional ophthalmologist. I would recommend his practice to anyone needing quality, caring eye care.

I've had zero issues immediately after having cataracts removed from each eye. Was told that I had cataracts and the work was on to get them done Dr Makris explained the procedure set the date for one eye then came back in 2 weeks for the other. Amazing sight I have now!!
